    Good Points: It looks sharp


    Bad Points: The first one i had didn't work
    The title screen is 5 year old art class... without the inevitable humour
    Audio connetions are rubbish


    General comments: I had 2 of these. The first one didn't work.

    The second did. I was probably put off by the first one... The second was returned within 3 days and i got a Cambridge Audio DVD57 instead. Love it.

    The Marantz has really limited audio connections. If you use it for video only then its fine.

    Incidentally, the Cambridge lacks a useful scan feature for audio. Its either 2x - 36X speed.

    An excellent DVD that looks as good as it sounds. Superb picture and sound quality. When used with a decent surround sound system, is as good as our local cinema ! An excellent unit that produces picture and sound quality better than many of its more expensive competitors.

    The Marantz DVD3100 is an excellent DVD player, superb for DVD's and audio cd's. Also good build quality and finish.
