Good Points: An in depth, adult look at the video game industry.
Bad Points: Sometimes takes itself too seriously.
General comments: If you are an adult who is still into video games then this is the magazine for you. Games are reviewed fairly and with a sense of perspective regarding games that have gone before. Games hyped elsewhere rarely achieve a nine in edge and a ten is something really sought after. The articles are sometimes a little pompous, as are the frequent attempts to link video games to high art, but overall this is an excellent magazine, and the definitive word when it comes to defining the best in interactive entertainment.

Beautiful presentation, factual and detailed. Removes itself from the rest of its competitors with a pretentious air and bills itself as an entity which it has done since 1993. Too serious? Sometimes, remembering that this is a games magazine after all,but still a good read after all these years is still a good read. The life span of this title is incredible in this market. Still the best mature read out there.- Read TORC SOFTWARE's review (103 words)

Edge - the magazine that dragged videogames out of the teenager's bedroom and into the living room, under the widescreen telly for everyone to see.
Seminal PS1 racer WipEout is generally credited with making games 'cool' and a subject that could be discussed in the pub, but in reality it is Edge that lead the way. The stylishly minimalist design, the well written reviews, the no-nonsense approach to the subject of gaming - all things that have made Edge the leading 'mature' games tome. Edge is the most well respected, professional and mature gaming magazine you can buy. They can be trusted with news, features and don't hold back when it comes to giving a bad review. I really liked living meekishly under kerayzee notions that all games were good. I don't anymore.- Read dangerboy's review (53 words)
