Good Points: Warm, rich and fluid even at low volume. Wideband technology does work wonders for authenticity of sound reproduction, especially, and maybe most surprisingly, on deep bass notes. Thankfully gimmick free.
Bad Points: Location and design of super tweeter possibly not to everyone's taste. Possibly!
General comments: Nothing comes close to the Tannoy Sensys DC1 for under a grand. If you can't believe this please audition a pair. At 299 you should be mad not to chose these superb omni mountable speakers.

I got thee Tannoy Sensys DC1 stereo speakers off a forum for £170 to upgrade my DC1000. I was interested to hear these as the are the modern day versions.
When I compared the two there was a noticeable difference. The DC1's were more focused and the Super Tweeter added a tingle on top that was very pleasing. Compared to the DC1000's they produced less bass, but what there was is very punchy and controlled. I am hopefully looking to get a sub soon to help them.
