Good Points: If you're a fan of the first you will watch it and enjoy some moments in it especially the opening scene.

Bad Points: *********************Contains Spoilers******************************************** Lacked the feel of the first and hated the whole good guys win against unsurpassable odds BUT in a way that makes it look easy. The ending was dire with the final battle between Scot Speedmans hybrid character killing the original werewolf William in very short time and with significant ease. Which wouldn't be a problem if it were not for the fact that this is what the majority of the film is building to. (Marcus's search to find and release his brother William the first of the Lycans who was entombed alive)

General comments: Some good character designs squandered away on unecessarily weak fights. I have only watched Underworld Evolution once so I will need to check but I believe it mentions that if the first vampire or Lycan was killed it would end the line of any descendants under him of vampire/lycan lineage (according to Marcus or William). Which doesn't occur with their deaths at the end of Underworld Evolution. As I say this may be a moot point as I will need to confirm this. All in all a few good bits but ultimately spoiled by the ending. A good plot but the telling of it seemed lacking compared to the first, it felt like if there was more acion than the first it would definetely be better but it wasn'.
