    Good Points: Solid well constructed, makes the most of its CO2 power


    Bad Points: Rear sight - a bit of left over bent tin from the factory floor


    General comments: Can Crosman really not have the expertise to produce and fit a decent rear sight instead of the bit of bent steel.
    I file down both front and rea sights by about 2.5mm to give a lower sight line instead of the standard skyscraper. Rear sight can be reprofile to a wider slot or semi circular aperture and the adjuster screw shortened so when the sight is flat it is zeroed at about 1 to 10 metres. Try it !

    The Sheridan EB22 certainly has power but the accuracy lets it down, the sights are very crude and it is virtually impossible to adjust the windage to any extent.
    In the end I had to rely on brute force to push the sight to the position to even obtain 1 inch groups at 6 yds.
    This weapon it's totally unsuitable target shooting or hunting other than to administer the coup de gras for injured prey.

    Let's jump right in and say that the Sheridan EB22 is the most powerful pistol you can own by law (UK) bar none! However, anyone who has used C02 pistols - or any airgun for that matter - will know that the issue of power is a moot point if your shots aren't hitting their mark every time. Luckily, the EB22 delivers every time in the accuracy department and with some practice you can achieve one hole groups at 6 metres.
