I have been buying tins of quality street for Christmas for the last 45 years but this last Christmas will be the last. Apart from the tins getting smaller the quality of the sweets is awful. The flavouring has changed & the soft centre sweets are now firm. And the size of the chocolates are smaller than ever not worth the money.

Quality Street used to be the must at Christmas but now we avoid ..the wrappers may have been changed due to recycling purposes so then why does the triangle still have the wonderful shiny paper on it whats the difference my recycling people will also not take the wrappers? The taste is not the same and the colouring is very dull not Quality Street but cheap street who thought of the marketing here ? It certainly doesn't do what it says on the tin

Every year they just get worse and worse, every year another favourite is missing, every year the tin, which is now plastic, gets smaller and smaller. I won't be buying them any more, it's just rubish now, you are going to find yourselves going out of business soon.

Opened the tin this year and was shocked by how they have taken the quality out of the tin with paper wrappers all the others like roses and celebrations etc have kept there quality and tbe fact that they all look the same every year they look worse than the previous year wouldn't even give them 1 star won't be buying them again take the title away as they are not quality

Bought quality street this year instead of Roses and was delighted to find the sweets wrapped in traditional wax paper wrappings. They tasted better than Roses and easier to unwrap than those ridiculous plastic pouch wrappers. Will definitely buy these again. Only thing now is for Cadbury to provide these jn a cardboard tub box which would be fantastic.

I was really disappointed with quality street chocolates this year. For years I brightened up my cookie trays will these chocolates, but the new wrappers are ugly to say the least. I bought something else for my trays this year. My family was also disappointed that the tin did not have the card in it to show the different flavours. Poor quality all round. I didn’t enjoy eating them this year and will likely never buy them again.

They should have marked the tins with POOR QUALITY STREET so that the customer would know that the chocolates inside would be wrapped in ugly wax paper! I wanted to put a few in Christmas stockings (a family tradition here), but they were so ugly that I had to find something else. I was too embarassed to give the tins I bought as gifts after opening the first - that I returned them.

What has happened to our traditional Christmas sweet collection? I get the environmentally friendly wrappers but omg the sweets are quite disgusting. We ended up throwing away a nearly full box 2Kg box awful sweets, we will never ever again buy sadly.

I have grown up with quality street at Christmas . I am now 63 and still get that first feeling when I think of Christmas of the quality street… sadly my memories have been violated. First of all the wrappers .. 99% of the fun was the wrapper, now lost to bland paper - there is no fun anymore in looking through the cellophane coloured wrappers at the world, and then flattening out the foils and remaking into tree decorations. - they are all gone ! The chocolate now seems to be a cheap sugar and higher fat content which leaves disappointment in the mouth. Sadly I will not be buying any more.. so passing those Christmas delights of enjoyment with the wrappers will not be passed down to my grand children.

I cried when I opened my tin of Quality Street chocolates on Christmas Eve. The sparkle and crinkle and magic is gone, and in a year we needed it more than ever. This line from a Father Brown story sums it up: “Against this glass were glued the noses of many guttersnipes, for the chocolates were all wrapped in those red and gold and green metallic colours which are almost better than the chocolate itself . . .”

Up until last year we loved these chocolates! Always purchased 2 large tins. This year they are disgusting! It’s not just the waxy wrapping paper - although that is bad enough! But the taste! It is as though have cut back on the quality of all the ingredients. On the plus side, they are a great way to cut down on the sweets at Christmas!

Decades ago, there was a noticeable Nestle effect when they bought Rowantree (Macintosh). Over time, people's standards have lowered and Nestle have occasionally upped their game, so Quality Street have remained a Christmas tradition. This year, the product is irredeemable.

Tut tut Nestle for your poor quality, and quantity of your Quality Streets. Was a huge fan until I brought your 600-gram tub this Christmas only to find I had been short-changed by the lack of quality in the streets in the tub. Need a magnifying glass to find the chocolates. They should change the name to dirt track and not quality streets. I will not be buying them again.

What has happened to the lovely wrappers. Claim its to do with recycling more a cheap cost saving exercise. How many people are going to put these in an envelope for recycling. Will look for a more superior brand of chocolates it's xmas for gods sake. Will not buy again and I'm sure this will have a negative effect on the future sales of quality street. Already robbed year by year on the amount of sweets you put in tins.

Every Christmas over 40 years ago I looked forward to these chocolates as child and remember how great they were. Bursting with lots of different flavours and now each year they are disappearing. I’ve never been so disappointed, my childhood favourite Christmas sweets have been ruined. Cheapened the brand and sacrificed quality . They should be renamed so that the original sweets can be remembered as they were .

Never again. Chocolate tastes weird. I always loved the blue coconut one but it's now tasteless, just very sickly sweet. All of them taste the same, synthetic. Horrible waxy wrappers. Will never buy them again.

First of all cheap waxy chocolates, secondly a residual flavor that’s nearing the worst candy I’ve had in years!! I bought mixed variety, tried them all - I ended up throwing away the lot! What I liked? Umm the thought I could have a variety of flavors. I liked the clever cute packaging What I didn’t like? I abhor the flavor and texture of this candy
