    Good Points: the neck..the fretboard..the feel of it is just excellentthe p-90's put out an awesome sound also


    Bad Points: nothing really bad about this guitar..im 100% satisfied about this guitar


    General comments: i own a Epiphone '56 Gold Top P90 and i can honestly say that this is my favorite guitar i own..i also own a fender telecaster..and the goldtop is alot better than the tele..my personal opinion lol

    Sound, powerful, good sustain good constrution beautiful looks great. It's a little bit heavy. The price is great for this amazing guitar.

    Any guitar lover will love this "Les Paul copy". A coworker of mine played my 56 goldtop LP Epi reissue and likes it better than his 70's Gibson Les Paul that has increased in value so much that he doesn't want to play it anymore. He said he's buying one of these for a "player guitar."

    Overall this is a great guitar but I think the pickups need to change to Semour Duncans.

    A very nice good guitar, nice looking, if one likes the P90 sound! Go and get one from Korea if you find one! I guess the chinese ones, also the EE ones have not that high Quality!!?? The guitar is discontinued by Epiphone!

    The Goldtop is an all round good guitar! Beautiful clean tones on all settings and a really rocking sound when you dirt it up! Great sustain, easy to play! Great value for the money! I play mine through a Marshall MG250DFX and its awesome! Buy one today! The only niggle I have with it is that the numbers on the volume and tone control are the same colour as the knobs and its hard to see where your at with them!

    The Epiphone '56 Gold Top P90 is amazing! It has a brilliant sound for solo's and it is a very comfortable guitar to play.

    Buy this guitar!!! I have a Gibson Les Paul that cost me £1400 and I much prefer the Epiphone '56!!

    I've been playing guitar on and of for about 25 years or so and I finally decided to buy myself an electric guitar that I really liked and because I couldn't justify paying the price of a Gibson Les Paul, the next best thing would be an Epiphone. I was going to buy a standard but I wanted something a little bit different so I plumped for the Gold Top with the P90's and I' so glad I did. I play it through a Marshall MGDFX amp and it sounds awsome, the combination of the two can come up with every ...

    What you see is what you get with the Epiphone '56 Gold top P90 electric guitar - gold in sound and vision. A very authentic look and very good craftmanship. The guys in Korea nowadays are doing a fine job.

    Compared to the Alnico pick-ups of my older Epiphone standard in black, this one sounds more crunchy in one position, and even more creamy in the other setting.

    The neck is very comfortable, and the gold finish reflects in the lights really nice in changing colours.
