i have had my .450 a month or so, i looked all over to find it, when i did i bought it, got a deal i couldn't refuse. first impression it's a nice rifle, the 1 in 24 twist 20" barrel is stout, after cleaning it and a dose of dry lube i installed the optics and went shooting. after sight in i noticed the hand guard and muzzle brake were loose, that was a real bubble buster, i re-tightened the hand guard and muzzle brake and once again checked every screw and pin on the rifle. now that we are all… Read Full Review

Although I have heard some gripes about Bushmasters, I haven't any with mine. I would highly recommend these rifles to anyone looking for an AR 15. As a former US Army Ranger (1/75inf), I think that I am qualified to rate the Bushmaster XM15 E2S M4 as a very good firearm. After 1000 or so rounds, I have to give it a 10-- not one problem or malfunction, and very accurate for a 16in. barrel. I have experience with quite a few different firearms and brands. This Bushmaster seems to be every bit… Read Full Review

I shot the original M16 in Vietnam and must say the Bushmaster is the one I wish I would have had for that conflict. I have also shot the Colt AR-15 as a state police "designated shooter"for 22 years and still prefer the Bushmaster products… Read Full Review

I give my full recommendation for the Bushmaster XM-15. It is a quality rifle!
16" M4 barrel profile, great quality and well made. 100% percent reliability in 600+ rounds (all brass casings, no wolf). I have tried 5 or 6 brands of ammo, and I have had absolutely no problems with this rifle. Accuracy is superior to what I can do with it. As said by others, just get some quality GI mags, and they will work fine for you.
It is a little on the pricey side compared to some other brands, but… Read Full Review

Overall Bushmaster makes a great rifle. The problems I had were more of a pain than anything and very simple to fix. Since dropping in the new disconnector I've had ZERO problems after 1200+ rounds. I'd have no problem buying another Bushmaster… Read Full Review

I received the Bushmaster XM-15 in late December. I have put a little over 500 rounds through it. It has been 100% reliable. The 16 inch barrel version is very comfortable to handle and accurate for it's length. The AR-15 platform also allows the shooter to replace the upper portion to make a rifle that is fit for the specific purpose it will be used for. All around good buy, just invest in some good magazines… Read Full Review
