galaxy was my favourite chocolate for years. i spent well over £50 a month on it. I've just totally gone off it since the new shape has come out this year. it tastes horrible too like stale chocolate, everything galaxy was is gone. i'll definitely be staying away from galaxy in the future unless it changes back and i'll be finding another chocolate bar to spend my money on. very upset! What have they done to Galaxy? Has avery odd sour milk taste a lot like Hershey choc from USA. Maybe thats the plan to improve sales overseas. Its not a bad taste, but dosnt suit me. I wont be buying it again in a hurry. Shame really cos its been a great product for so long. (read more)

Well, I don't think that I am addicted, but I could be. I've been eating at least 2 of the big bars of Galaxy every week for years and it's great. It's certainly the smoothest of the the big brand chocolates. Ok, I know it's just because of the veggy oil, but....oooohhhh, it tastes soooo goood! (read more)

Why fix something if it isn't broke? Galaxy used to be the winning chocolate formula for me until it was changed, now it is rather bland and not very satisfying. I think the shape has something to do with it, it used to be lovely solid chunks which took a long time to melt in the mouth not a silly curved shape. PLEASE lets return to the original recipe. ex Galaxy fan (read more)

Galaxy Milk Chocolate used to have a rough and individual texture which enhanced the taste. Now it has a "new improved creamy" taste and texture, I feel it has lost its supremacy and is bland and disappointing and slightly nauseating. The packaging is also rather soppy. However, the wonderful taste remains the best of all British chocolate (read more)

Lucky me, I am eating galaxy right now. A sexy galaxy site would be nice to get me a bit more excited. It is creamier than most chocolate bars, it is satisfying, you can roll it round in your mouth so the taste can envelope all of your taste buds, gorgeous! (read more)

I wouldn't say I have a sweet tooth, indeed normally a bag of crisps is more a tempting treat for me than a chocolate bar. I will eat any other bar when it's offered, but Galaxy has for a long time been my bar of choice. What is that indefinable something that makes it so luscious and delicious- the ultimate comfort food? Why did they change it? It is so sickly sweet, Its just like eating a bar of Cadbury's now, if i wanted that (which i dont!) then i would buy a bar of Dairy Milk! After being a big fan of Galaxy chocolate for years I wont buy another bar unless they change it back!

What a shame. You get a product that is the best of its kind, Galaxy chocolate has really bean unbeatable, and then they go and change it. This 'new shape and smoother taste'just means the new shape means the bar looks the same size but probably takes less chocolate to look that big. The smoother taste means it now tastes oily and very unchocolatey and decidedly unappetizing. Bound to be a new recipe that costs less to produce, but unless they change it back then I'm certainly cured of... (read more)

I love a good date on my chocolate. I always eat a whole 150g bar with a pot of tea daily. I think I am addicted. People smoke, or drink or do lots of exercise, I eat chocolate ( Galaxy only) every day. I am a little overweight but only a little and I have enjoyed this amount of chocolate almost daily for 10 years as I said it is my bad habit. My creamy, yet hard bad habit. Yum, Yum. (read more)

There's no other chocolate that is as moreish. Galaxy is creamy, and it just melts on your tongue.

This chocolate is just the nicest chocolate I have ever tasted. It is creamy and tasty, and always available in the shops. Melted down into a mug of warm milk and sprinkled with chocolate powder, Galaxy milk chocolate is just out of this world. It is also very very nice just on its own. It beats any other I have had. I have probably sampled most chocolate tastes available and have to declare, for me, Galaxy is by far the best!
After biting into that hard block of choc, the flavour hits you instantly. It melts into a wonderful creamy light gorgeously yummy texture on the tongue that you just never want to go away! Sadly the meltdown is inevitable, the yummy goes in the tummy leaving you wanting more than just one bite! Good job this comes in different sizes!

I can't resist just begging friends for money so I can buy a bar of Galaxy Milk chocolate. Galaxy is very nice, and I would eat a bar any time if someone was giving them out. I am always the first in queues for the vendor to buy a Galaxy, and I think that any chocolate eater would love this as much as I do, but no-one will love it as much as me! It is impossible!! 400g is enough for me in one go whiteox! I ate one all to myself yesterday! Well, it was Christmas! I have never seen a 1kg bar! But I certainly wouldn't turn one down! I too live in Exeter, if I see one, I will certainly let you know!
