Have had many Air Rifles in my lifetime and nothing compares to the HW77k I have had 2 and they are just the best accuracy is amazing design and look are classic if I had one small gripe its a tad heavy but dont let that put you off if you buy one you will not regret it i still have one now and will never sell it… Read Full Review

Most avid airgunners know just how good the Weihrauch HW77 and HW97 series are so I wont wax too lyrical, indeed see a little plagerisim below "The HW77 is one of the first and finest underlever field target rifles ever made. Born in the famous Weihrauch plant in Germany, it has been a popular rifle for decades. It has the famous Rekord trigger and will always be more accurate than anyone shooting it." I had my first original HW77 rifle as a young man, sadly sold that in 1987 but bought a… Read Full Review

Bought this about a year ago Beautifully made and very accurate, with a bit a fun factor due the .25 calibre Standard length which at first I regret but now am totally happy with as it looks fantastic and not a long pistol … Read Full Review

I bought my HW77 brand new about 5 years ago. It is a .22 standard length rifle and my one regret is, I never bought one sooner! This has to be the most accurate, beautifully made spring air rifle you can buy. It isn't as heavy as some believe and it will put Air Arms field 5.52mm one on another as far as I can steady my rifle in aim to! There is nothing I don't like about it at all. I won my very first-attempt HFT competition with it and it puts down vermin on my farm-shoot humanely and… Read Full Review

It is the best gun I have ever owned. The stock is beautiful, and I love how accurate it is. I cleaned up an old one that a neighbor gave to me that had a broken breech seal, and now its shooting even more accurate than my grandfathers brand new $300 Crossman. The only drawback is that, since I hve the plain hw77 and not the hw77k, I had to put a scope on it for the lack of rear iron sights… Read Full Review

I've had just about all the makes.AA. BSA. Webley. Theoben. Daystate etc.I've shot for 35 yrs just got rid of my hw 100 kt because I wanted another springer so bought a brand new hw77 k in 177 and I can't get over how accurate this is it puts rws superfields on top of each other at 40 yds it beats all the pre charged guns for accuracy with ease.its heavy but that's what steadys a gun. I will keep this for good… Read Full Review

my first ever rifle I ever purchased was a HW77 then changed to a more powerful air rifle a weble patriot .25 big problems with this brute with furniture screws breaking so i decided to buy a theoben eliminator fantastic rifle thumb hole stock.. due to a back injury i have returned to the old faithful HW77 nothing can compare to its accuracy... I have just left it in for a tune up can't wait to get it back into the field hoping to obtain 15 to 18 ftlb pressure after tuning.. Corgi… Read Full Review

Bought my HW77 .22 second hand, but fairly new, not long after they came out. It came with a 4x40 Nikko Stirling sight. It was a revelation after owning many break barrel air guns, & all the air rifles I have bought since have been under levers. None of them have matched the 77 for accuracy. Bad points - Very heavy, 9 lbs+ before scope. Noisy, without a silencer, which adds even more weight. My one had a very slightly bent underlever, which I did not notice until someone else pointed it… Read Full Review

I have just come back to airguns after a lay off of over thirty years. Back in 1980 I had a HW80 which was given a cropped barrel, silencer and a venom tune, all by the inventor of venom at Lye gunshop, Trapshot. I have recently purchased a second hand HW77 in .22 from my local gunshop, and to say I'm pleased is an understatement!, I'm thrilled. The rifle is superb, heavy, yes, but so well made it's a treat to hold. It's a pleasure to shoot because of it's accuracy and within a short time I am… Read Full Review

A mate of mine has a 77k & I love it. I tried to buy it off him but he wouldn't sell it & I can't say I blame him. It's super accurate, built like a tank & feels great in the shoulder. The moment my local gun shop (the owner is a mate of mine) mentioned he has one, I said "can you hold it for me? I'll have it" it's in mint condition & only £275 with a Tasco 3-9x40 scope. I can't wait to bring her home!… Read Full Review

started hunting a year ago. first gun was the hw77. couldnt believe how consistently you can shoot after just a few days pratice. had to buy a BSA scorpion t-10 as i often go on long hunting journeys and the 77's weight issues are just too impractical. but if your going for a cheeky evening shoot and your looking for power without losing the accuracy the 77 is undoubtedly the best there is… Read Full Review

Back in the 80's the HW77 came to dominate the FT scene, I didn't own one back then (couldn't afford it). I'm just getting back into FT (well, HFT) now and I bought a PCP rifle - a Gunpower Stealth to be exact, what a POS, put me off PCP for good. So I picked up an old HW77 at the Newark Show for £190. It went to the gunsmiths and came back with a shortened barrel (12" super carbine style), tuned trigger and new spring and seals.
I took it to the range at Huthwaite - OMG it's superb! Now I can… Read Full Review

Amazing, bought my .22 in 1980, still looks and feels like new.
Rabbits, rats, mice, pigeons, nver misses.
This is German engineering at it's very best, nothing on the market
On purchase, mine produced 11.7ft/lb on test.
Changed the spring, better seals, full swervice etc in 2006, now produces
18.2ft/lb consistently… Read Full Review

Even in this age of pre charged pneumatic rifles, and the formidable accuracy their recoiless shooting action affords even a rank novice shooter, there are still a few spring rifles that can match and outshoot them in the right hands. The Weihrauch HW77 underlever spring piston air rifle is the top rifle of them all. This magnificent rifle has been in-production since the mid 1980s and set the accuracy standard all other air guns had to meet. It gave birth to HFT and proved so accurate there… Read Full Review

Well as a world war II buff and a keen airgun shooter I asked myself " what air rifle would german tiger tank ace Michael Wittman have used on the days when he wasnt blowing up russian T34's - answer: a Weihrach HW77.
This is the finest in german engineering built into an artillery piece of an air rifle - power, accuracy and you just know when you handle one for the first time that you will still be using this as your 1st choice rifle in 20 years time.
Ive had one on loan from a friend now… Read Full Review

Vey accurate. I owned a Webley patriot, a BSA Superstar and this HW77K and even though those other guns are fantastic, the HW77 I love because of it's accuracy and consistency shot to shot. The blueing is extremely professional. After owning this gun for over 4 years, it still looks new. If I have one complain, it would be the weight with a scope. But other than that, I would recommend this gun to anyone. You wont go wrong… Read Full Review
