Good Points: Lightweight, Very Accurate, Low cost, Scopeable, Durable material, black/low glare

Bad Points: Dont hit the Tru Glow Sight on anything on accident, will get loose easily. Make sure you dont load the breach twice with pellets, because once you jam the bolt forward, the pellet will be up in there, and you wont see it and may load another. Firing it in this fashion would get them stuck in the barrel. BBs slosh around inside the chamber and make a noise when trying to sneak up on groundhogs or target acquisition. Should have had a pellet loader. Pump gets a bit loose after a while of use, but is very durable and doesn't feel like breaking at all.

General comments: The Daisy Powerline is an EXCELLENT air rifle. If properly sighted, it is VERY accurate with the truglow , and SUPER accurate with the Daisy scope sighted in. Sighted in @ 60 yards, I have shot rats in the HEAD and killed Groundhogs. Low noise when firing. Hollowpoint Pellets are most accurate when fully pumped (10x). Wadcutters are better than BBs. BBs are more accurate when pumped only 6 times. At 50-60 yrds, fully pumped, hollowpoint pellets wont down a groundhog, have to get within 15 yrds.

The first one I bought had the safety button totally missing. I took it back and replaced it. Shot it in the backyard for a couple of weeks and could never get it to shoot where I wanted. Very inaccurate. I took it back.

I bought this Daisy Model 901 Powerline Air Rifle at the locol Wal Mart. I set up a target at about 30 yards and it would only stoot with in a about a 5" pattern with BB's. Haven't tried the pellets yet. May be sending it back to Daisy to repair the problem with it loading two BB's at a time. Emailed Daisy and said, they would repair it, or send me a new one. But, I have to pay the UPS charges to send it. Not sure if they will reimburse me for the shipping charges. If it only shoots a 5" pattern ...

The Daisy Model 901 Powerline - I really liked this bb/pellet gun when I first got it. I found out shortly the bbs dont go where you point at, so I switched to pellets. I was just amazed at the accuracy of the gun at 20 and 30 yards. Just using 5 pumps keeps the pellet in one inch groups. Then the gun just quit working properly after a couple of months. I had to adjust the scope up about 10 clicks and it would not even go through the bottom of a soda can. I started hearing air leakage fro ...

Overall this is a great product. It's disadvantages would be found with any air rifle for this price (~$50). It's definitely something worth considering purchasing. The Daisy Model 901 Powerline rifle has a very high velocity -It's extremely accurate and its easy to use right out of the box -50 BB reservoir-1 or 2 pumps is enough power for most target shooting.

The rifle is of well built. The pumping is almost effortless. The front sight are to big and I can't see the target when I and 30+ yards away from the target. The gun's accurate and I got a head shot on a bird, 32 yards away. The guns ideal for small game hunting, like birds and rats.

Not a bad product but think a Crosman 760 is better and less expensive. I paid $59 for mine but the basic 760 can be had for under $40. The plastic slide for the bolt makes me nervous as too how long it might last. I put a Red dot on mine and it shoots great. I've had a 760 growing up and I think it would be better for the long haul.

I've been curious about this model since it was released and decided to pick one up to compare against the Crosman 2100. My expectations were low since the exterior of this gun is almost entirely plastic while the Crosman features more metal. Boy was I suprised! Fit and finish- Although entirely plastic, the fit and feel of the synthetic stock and receiver on this gun are quite good. This isn't your run of the mill toy store type stuff. The stock doesn't feel or sound hollow at all and the mo ...

This gun broke on me after 2 weeks, I just send it back to Daisy and I will see what they will do about it. The gun is OK for the price, I paid $80 for it from pyramid air but the magnetic part where it holds the bb broke off and now I can no longer cock the sucker, otherwise its an ok gun. I also have a Daisy Powerline 953 single pump and its a far better gun then the 901 model. 6 pumps from 901 would equal to 1 pump with 953. If you like to pump then get the 901 but I say 953 is a lot better ...

This gun I must say, was the best gun I ever got from Daisy. Yes it has a few buggys but it is great! The gun is very reliable a and will blow up a empty Snapple bottle at 30 ft, No problem. My has a Tasco 3x9 gunsightscope which is good but i had to get custom scope rings (This is a mod that I recomend to every one for this gun.) 1" scope rings special .22 cal&airguns Waly world (Wal Mart) Tasco 3x9 Get at Waly world Daisy 901 model (Dauvensfishinhole.com) All costs a around $72 dollers. This Daisy Model 901 Powerline is my first pellet gun. I just wanted something to play around with and it's something to pick off birds with. It's got some good power though, even with only 10 pumps, I penetrated a phone book halfway through, at only 10ft away. Once in a while a shot will be off by a few inches, but then again it is a pellet gun, not an SKS. It's also pretty loud sometimes and if used indoors it's even louder. I wish it would hold more BBS. Also, be careful when load ...

The Daisy Model 901 Powerline seems like a great gun so far. I only paid $45 at a local dept. store. It's accurate and easy to handle. I haven't tried to take any game yet. I just got it 2 days ago. Something I don't like is having to have the bolt open to put on safe 10 pump max for each shot.

I have to say the Daisy Model 901 Powerline is a good gun for the money. I was surprised on the cost $57.00 (tax included). It is a lot of fun and when the friends come over it is even more fun. I bought a model 808 scope. I haven't calibrated it yet but I will. It is a accurate gun. I am thinking up getting another something that at least kicks out 1000FPS or more. I say it is a great starter gun for beginners.

This Daisy Model 901 Powerline is my first airgun, I thought I would out grow it quickly but its actually a pretty versatile shooter and so it's still getting a lot of time. One thing you can do with this multi-pump is that you can use it indoors with 2-3 pumps on a decent homemade pellet trap - Make sure it's a good thick one or you will be going to the store like I have to to get putty hoping you can patch the hole before the wife sees it. So you can get lots of practice in if you are new li ...

I've just bought a Daisy Model 901 Powerline today, overall pleasantly surprised for an air-rifle that's priced about twice the "Red Ryder". A good pick for responsible young shooters.

The Daisy Model 901 Powerline is a great gun. The only thing I don't like about it is the light weight felling and its multi pump. It's $40 at Mid South Shooters.com. I bought Camo duck tape and camoed it out also with a scope. So it's a great gun I would buy it for squirrels and birds (750 fps).
