    Good Points: Powerful/accurate

Bad Points: easily jams/difficult to unjam

General comments: I really did like this Daisy Model 901 Powerline gun. It was very powerful and accurate. I broke a glass bottle from 50ft. away with only 10 pumps. The only thing i didnt like about this gun was that it was impossible to unjam and it jams easily. I tried to unjam it for almost a half hour and the the lever fell off so i couldnt close it.

I really liked this Daisy Model 901 Powerline gun. It had great power and accuracy. The only thing i didnt like about it was that it was to difficult to unjam. I must have tried to unjam for an hour and the the action broke.

I bought this Daisy Model 901 Powerline rifle and added a 9x32 scope, and zeroed it in at 20 yards using crossman hollow point hunting pellets and a bench rest. It took some time to reach the desired results, but the time spent was well worth it. from the bench the rifle shoots very tight groups, and hits very hard. I bought this rifle with nusance starlings in mind, and it is exceeding my expections in that regard, It hits the mark, and drops the quarry at 30 and 40 yards. If you are looking f ...

I bought this rifle last night based on the positive reviews here. What a mistake. The negative reviews of this rifle are 100%correct.This is nothing more than a 880 in glock plastic.Same velocity same powerplant, same loose barrel and inaccuracy. The sight at the end of the barrel was so loose,it fell out,EXACTLY like the 880 so accuracy is out of the question.I did try 3 different pellets and the best I could do was 4in groups at 10 yards shooting from a rest.I also had my Crosman Airmaster77 out ...

I shoot a lot of air rifles and collect them. However, I had to return this one to the store with a complaint to Daisy. In 2008 an air rifle should seal properly without leaking. I found out at the store a lot of them were returned for the same reason. So until they fix the issue - I will wait to try another one.

This particular 901 seems to fire wad cutter pellets more accurately than two types of pointed pellets. Pointed pellets are not consistant at all but the wad cutter pellets seem to hit within 1/2 inch of the target at 30 yds consistantly. If you have inconsistant shoots try resighting with other pellets. Seems wad cutters are the best in everything I have shot so far. They may not have the same penitration as a point but the blunt force trama of a wad cutter will mess up a blak bird and you get ...

OK for everyone that says this gun isnt accurate, its either because u havent sighted the scope properly, or you arent shooting poperly. i.e. u are jerking the gun when you shoot. this gun is very powerful and pretty accurate, altho i will admit this is an airgun not an USMC M40A3 so you may be off by say an inch a few times, but all in all, a great gun

The Daisy Powerline is an EXCELLENT air rifle. If properly sighted, it is VERY accurate with the truglow , and SUPER accurate with the Daisy scope sighted in. Sighted in @ 60 yards, I have shot rats in the HEAD and killed Groundhogs. Low noise when firing. Hollowpoint Pellets are most accurate when fully pumped (10x). Wadcutters are better than BBs. BBs are more accurate when pumped only 6 times. At 50-60 yrds, fully pumped, hollowpoint pellets wont down a groundhog, have to get within 15 yrds.

The first one I bought had the safety button totally missing. I took it back and replaced it. Shot it in the backyard for a couple of weeks and could never get it to shoot where I wanted. Very inaccurate. I took it back.

I bought this Daisy Model 901 Powerline Air Rifle at the locol Wal Mart. I set up a target at about 30 yards and it would only stoot with in a about a 5" pattern with BB's. Haven't tried the pellets yet. May be sending it back to Daisy to repair the problem with it loading two BB's at a time. Emailed Daisy and said, they would repair it, or send me a new one. But, I have to pay the UPS charges to send it. Not sure if they will reimburse me for the shipping charges. If it only shoots a 5" pattern ...

The Daisy Model 901 Powerline - I really liked this bb/pellet gun when I first got it. I found out shortly the bbs dont go where you point at, so I switched to pellets. I was just amazed at the accuracy of the gun at 20 and 30 yards. Just using 5 pumps keeps the pellet in one inch groups. Then the gun just
quit working properly after a couple of months. I had to adjust the scope up about 10 clicks and it would not even go through the bottom of a soda can. I started hearing air leakage fro ...

Overall this is a great product. It's disadvantages would be found with any air rifle for this price (~$50). It's definitely something worth considering purchasing.
The Daisy Model 901 Powerline rifle has a very high velocity -It's extremely accurate and its easy to use right out of the box -50 BB reservoir-1 or 2 pumps is enough power for most target shooting.

The rifle is of well built. The pumping is almost effortless. The front sight are to big and I can't see the target when I and 30+ yards away from the target. The gun's accurate and I got a head shot on a bird, 32 yards away. The guns ideal for small game hunting, like birds and rats.
