Good Points: Comes with everything you need for first time installation (eg scart lead, and batteries for remote etc). Very very quick to install and find channels. Set up within 5 minutes maximum (including the time to hook it up to the TV).
Bad Points: Slow... Channels found could not be deleted separately (e.g. found Welsh channels as BBC1 BB2 and ITV etc., and I wanted to delete these to replace them with North West versions, but this could not be done at all! Arranged for Tesco's courier to pick it up as a return within 30 minutes of messing with it. I wouldn't buy this. There are better, easier and cheaper box sets out there!
General comments: The Goodmans GDB7CA freeview box is slow, clumsy, big, and it doesn't give you a lot of choice in terms of selecting or deleting channels etc.

The Goodmans GDB7CA freeview box installs very easily, and it worked 'straight from the box' once it had run through the built in setup procedure.
The first problem was the poor reception, but this was eventually cured by replacing the ordinary coax cable (from the wall socket to the box) with a satellite cable. The next issue was the inadequate sound level - nothing in the manual. This was resolved by increasing the sound level using the handset (who says read the instructions first?), But ...
