Good Points: Bo's voice is right on, as usual. Modern music with a slight hint of Southern-man style.
Bad Points: None, as long as you are into Pop/Rock. But any true Bo fan will be happy just because it's Bo.
General comments: The Real Thing is a great CD. Bo Bice's voice is just terrific, as always. Great job. Can't wait for his next CD. I'm sure a lot of people expected Southern Rock, but I never counted on that myself, considering Clive Davis offered the record deal. Bo has to do what they tell him to right now. That's just the way it is. They are marketing him with music they think will promote him. They have talented producers & songwriters on this CD, and it really shows. Bo does a super job with the material. I'm sure he himself would have liked to have more input, and perhaps go in a different direction with this CD, but maybe Bo's next CD will take more of a Southern Rock direction. I myself am more into Pop/Rock, so I give Bo & this CD 5 stars.
