    Good Points: very spacious and economical on Diesel for longer journeys


    General comments: The Ford Galaxy is great when it is OK but sadly it seems to be a common problem with injectors. Had it in the garage more than on the road, changed the 4 injectors which are £500+vat each plus labour (£2800 in total). Same symptoms after 18 months! Can't wait to get rid of it.

    Have had this car for 4 years and am currently looking to change, as it has become too expensive on repairs even at this young age. I have only done 40,000 miles in the car and expected it to last a while longer yet, before the expensive repairs started being needed.

    Overall, the Ford Galaxy 1.9 TDi Ghia 130 Bhp is superb. I have had many big estate cars and a Zafira. The Galaxy beats the Zafira hands down on everything but the folding seats. I tow a caravan and although the Zaf handled it fairly well the towing weight (1500Kg) is rubbish. Galaxy on the other hand pulls my twin axled job effortlessly.
    I really love owning and driving this car. The kids love it in the back as they have the multimedia kit to play with. Boot space and having to take the seats ...
