Having recently found Mrs Kirkham's Lancashire Cheeses on a recent visit to Keswick Market, we were suprised at the taste of the cheeses we purchased it was like going back 50 years to when cheeses tasted like cheese and not the tasteless cheese one buys in the supermarkets.
My wife and haven't tasted cheese that good since the late fifties, the flavours were so strong and tasty that we struggled not to eat it all in one sitting.

Mrs Kirkhams Lancashire cheese is also unique in the fact that it is unpasturised and still hand made on the farm by the kirkham family. Its great!

I have to agree with both the review and the other comment - I just adore Mrs Kirkham's Lancashire - and it's quite local for us as well. I regularly have a slab in my fridge and guests are guaranteed to enjoy it - a definite buy - and buy the strong one, it's the best.
