Good Points: It has been a very good p.c...
General comments: ... for me the laptop did start to break down quite easily, i.e... dvd player/writer has a bit of a mind of its own! If someone can help here, would be very much appreciated to leave a comment, would be great if it was the Sony vaio help vice.

I have been using it for 2 years now; no problems at all. Especially recovery process is only 10 minutes. Strongly recommend Vaio to all users.

This computer has the feel of quality, it is lightweight and the wireless range is truly excellent - almost double my other laptop with aerial in the screen. But (and I know that you shouldn't start a sentence with an injunction but I want this point to stand out) there is a severe problem caused by the processor cooling system overheating. Sony have no competition when it comes to laptop screens, as they use a X-Black LCD technology. I don't know what it is, but it works because it's crystal clear and nice on the eyes.
The Sony VGN-FS315M laptop is fast as well, and upgradable, which is rare in current laptops. It has 512MB RAM, which can be upgraded to 2GB if needed. Another 512MB costs just £40.
