    Good Points: Very helpfull not pushy like some sales people I enjoy walking and they provided a very good service and advice on what walking boots i would need most companies will try sell me the most expensive walking boots having tried a few online firms. The delivery was promt and my boots are fantastic


    Bad Points: none for me


    General comments: Will say I am pleased with the service and advice I got from Gear Zone and had no problems with delivery etc..

    Nothing bad unlike comments made 2-4 years ago i found the service provided by Gear Zone helpful I do a lot of walking with my husband and bought a pair of hiking boots I have no problems and am happy

    They took the money for my order, then told me the goods were out of stock. I am still waiting for a refund, and they will not answer emails or letters.

    I will never use Gear Zone again.

    I have been waiting for a refund on a returned item for about two months, despite constant emails from myself, and there is no phone number to actually speak to someone at Gear Zone.

    I ordered items over a month ago after ordering i received an email stating they would be 14 - 21 days delay for my order, I canceled straight away but it was two weeks before i received an email confirming cancelation the email stated that it could be 14 days before i would receive my refund! Over two weeks later and i still have not received the refund. Stay clear. Nobody responds to email and there is no phone number to contact them!

    The order I placed with Gear Zone was not delivered. I contacted them for a refund which was supposed to have been processed within two weeks. 3 months later, and I am still waiting.

    I placed an order and the money was taken from my Maestro card. They emailed a few days later to say the item was out of stock. 2 months later I haven't received the item. I have cancelled the order and received acknowledgement, but after 2 weeks I haven't had my refund. No one from Gear Zone ever replies to emails, and they haven't published a phone number!!!

    I placed an order with gear Zone on 3rd May 2006 for 2 Maglite torches and 1 sleeping bag to use at T in the Park. One torch was sent out within a week with a cover note saying the other 2 items were out of stock, and that the expected delivery date for the torch was 14 working days, and the sleeping bag within 21 working days - all very well.     I ordered a tent from gear Zone and they sent me the wrong one, and I still haven't received the correct one (this has been going on for nearly 8 weeks). No return phone calls as promised. Only 1 email reply, and I have sent them 4 or 5 emails over the last 2 months. I can't get in touch with them this week as they've turned their phones off so that they can deal with all their new orders due to the launch of their new website!

    It started 5 weeks ago. I ordered a warm down filled winter coat from Gear-Zone as I am travelling to Scotland for Xmas. I was told that there would be no problem with delivery and that I would have it in time for Xmas. It is 3 days before Xmas and I still do not have it.
