The Gamo PT90 promised so much and at just over £100 it seemed a bargain compared with offerings from Umarex etc. What an utterly rubbish pistol! Cheap and tacky more like a toy than a pistol supposed to fire at over 400fps. The barrel and slide assembly move to the side as the magazine indexes, or should I say when it feels like indexing! Do not buy this pistol you will be shocked how bad it is… Read Full Review

It is a very good gun if you are young and a starter like me and it is pretty powerful but it is not good that you cannot attach a silencer or a sight i got very sick of fireing shots and then it taking ages to reload all of them again. I recomend this gun for starters and starters only but it is for a good price… Read Full Review

i think it is a great gun but i wasn't too pleased that it cannot have a sight or a silencer attached. It is a great gun for starters like me since it is my first gun, i have shot about 1000 rounds through it maybe more and it has never jammed so it is really reliable but i dont know how powerful it is so can somebody tell me please… Read Full Review

The Gamo PT-90 is a grate air gun for first time shooters, comfortable, reliable, nice shape, nice grip, grate design. There are some bad points - I find that it's not that accurate, not to powerful, and in my opinion the handle cover breaks easily. I'm also not able to attach a silencer or scope… Read Full Review

Not worth the cost due to its design flaws and cheap build quality. Magazine frequently jams due to a loose barrel, hammer breaks easily leaving it double action only, the screw to tighten the co2 into place is very fiddly. It does get some ddecent power but its not good enough to please me… Read Full Review

Written on: 15/12/2005 by steven roberts (1 review written)

The Gamo PT 90 barrel housing is made of metal, while the base, to which the housing attaches, is made of plastic. When drilling materials of different densities, the size of the drilled holes must be taken into account. Plastic heats when drilled with a high speed drill. Once drilled it is often assumed that the newly drilled hole is the exact size of the bit used, this is not always the case. The hole expands due to the drilling process. This is true of the hole drilled in the plastic of the… Read Full Review

The Gamo pt90 ss a pretty nice pistol. Similar in design to the H&K USP full size, the gun is perfect for anyone wanting a realistic "SWAT team" style gun. The finish is a matte/flat black, and the gun holds 8 lead pellets. FPS is about 410(according to the instructions, I don't actually have a chrono)

Overall, Id say that for the $75 I paid, this is a fine gun… Read Full Review
