    Good Points: Properties on Club Puerto Chico have a distinct advantage for the elderly traveller or families with younger children when staying in Playa Blanca Lanzarote as everything is on a flat level. For those with walking difficulties electric wheelchairs are available locally.


    Bad Points: Bungalows are not all at the same standard as they are owned by different owners so question facilities when booking accommodation.


    General comments: Club Puerto Chico is a very good small complex with everything to hand with shops, beaches, pubs and clubs near enough for comfort but far enough away to avoid excessive intruding noise. The staff were very helpful and the complex well kept. The heated swimming pool was a boon in the later months of the year.

    Playa Blanca has retain some of its original charm and the centre is still authentically Spanish. A lot of building has meant this resort has expanded considerably over the past few years but it is still one of lesser commercialised resorts in the Canaries. Two good man made beaches and an extensive promenade is ideal for those wanting a long but easy walk. There are lots of restaurants here but they tend to veer away from the fast food types.
