Good Points: The salesman was friendly, and good on timekeeping. The fitter was excellent, skilled and hard working - works as a sub-contractor in spite of salesman saying "we don't use sub-contractors".
Bad Points: Salesman left details of fridge and freezer vents in worktop from spec., but charge made, not yet fitted. Roll-back worktop we wanted was quoted as "very expensive", but no separate price was given. This has not been supplied, and it's now 4 weeks since the job started. We have a large hole above our drawers waiting for this. Phone calls to office never answered, messages left, and calls never returned. Salesman's mobile phone now gone "unobtainable". Salesman took credit card details as a guarantee in case of non-payment on completion, with cheque to be written on completion of job. Credit card was debited the day the job started, and it has left us with no say in case of problems, which we now have.
General comments: The only good thing about the job was the skill of the fitter. The cupboard doors and worktop are good, but we could have bought them from B&Q for a fraction of the cost that we paid Kitchen Facades.

I'm not sure that the previous negative comments have come from people using the same firm!!! Or are they reviews by rivals trying to spread a bad word? I only think this because I had such a positive experience, and I would recommend Kitchen Facades to anyone! The quality of work and the guys who did it were really good, and I got a great looking kitchen at the end of it - value for money.

They left the job incomplete.
They didn't return your calls, and the quality of the wood that Kitchen Facades have used is horrible.

Don't do it - run like the wind - take your money and go elsewhere whilst your sanity and kitchen are still intact.

The fitters are a good crew, but the management and the service are not.
When problems arose due to their bad management of the job and workmanship in their factory, Kitchen Facades didn't want to know. They demand payment without any regard for their mistakes.

I read the previous negative reviews and still decided to go ahead with Kitchen Facades. I have not been in any way let down. I got the a far greater level of service than I would expect for my modest investment.
I spoke with the MD of this company about my concern prior to placing my order and he explained that out of 20,000 kitchens they have installed, they have had only 10-20 really negative customers. It just goes to prove that you can't please everybody. If in doubt ask Facades for clie ...

The quality of Atkinson's Replacement Doors and their materials is pretty good (the work top was excellent), but the professionalism and quality of the Kitchen Facades fitters was average at best.
I think the idea of having replacement doors is a good one. If done again, I'd try to co-opt a friend or trusted recommended builder to fit them for me. But then again, where do you find these?

Kitchen Facades make huge promises and do not deliver on them. The work takes forever, is not appropriate to the kitchen you have, and is shoddy - a door they fitted has already fallen off and they are refusing to repair it. Avoid like the plague.

Faulty Doors arrived twice
Installation date moved 3 times
Kitchen Facades has the worst after service ever experienced.
Left with no kitchen for 2 months with no offer of compensation.
Doors falling to pieces after 3 months and it takes a week and 16 messages and a threat of legal action before someone calls back.
DO NOT USE!!!
