Babyliss Curl Press Curling Tongs
Although quite hard to use at first, particularly on your own hair, once you have got the hang of it, these curlers are by far the best curlers around. You CAN change the look of the curl, depending on how long you 'press' it for. More reliable than regular curlers, as you produce very similar curls each time. The disadvantage is that strands of hair sometimes get trapped in the 'press' but overall, a great product. I have recommend to numeroud friends, and...

I've had this Babyliss 2330U Curl Press since March, it is now June and I cannot for the life of me work out how to include the ends of my hair, I know I am doing something wrong but I feel there should be much more information in the instruction booklet and better diagram photos. (read more)

I have long, quite fine hair, which doesn't curl properly and when it does, it falls out of place in about an hour (using hairspray)! But my hair curled perfectly and stayed in place for 2 nights, no hairspray, and still looked nice :) Babyliss 2330U Curl Press are very good curlers, stayed in for a long time and you can get any type of curl you like! these are a good product, my first curlers as i was a straighteners girl, I'm only young [still in school] and i found these curlers easy to use, quick to heat, and easy to use before school, my hair is quite long, and the curlers manage it perfectly.
excellent product!

Babyliss 2330U Curl Press doesn't have a light to let you know that its switched on, so accidents could occur. it aches my hand to use the press. And it hasn't curled my hair whatsoever.
Bitterly bitterly disappointed with this product. It didn't curl my hair at all. just left it bumpy looking. I hope Argos will refund it.

I hated these curlers when I first got them but now I love them! I personally think that once you keep using them, you get better at using them and they turn out to be really nice curlers! They produce nice spirally curls. Although, I use loads of hairspray on it afterwards to try and hold the curls - they probably only stay in for the morning and afternoon and start coming out in the evening.
Also, you can only produce one type of curl with this and when I've finished curling my hair,...

Not hot enough. Really frustrating and not easy to use at all. More importantly they don't actually style and you're limited to the size you want your curls to be. (read more)

Basically, once you have mastered how to use these curlers they are extremely satisfactory. There is a specfic way to use them (curling the hair in the right direction around the curler) and if you don't use them that way (which many people don't) they don't produce good results. However, when used to the right way I found them simple, quick, easy and after a few times of using them I didn't even need a mirror. These were definitely a good buy! (read more)

It is very difficult to use- pressing the hair requires such strength that instead of enjoying it you feel your hand swelling after a few minutes. Not to mention that it takes about 1/4 inches of hair at a time which makes curling very tiring and long (no woman I know has this much time on her hands)
This is a complete waste of money

I got the Babyliss 2330U Curl Press hair curlers for my birthday at the beginning of this year, as I wanted to try other curlers besides my Andrew Collinge ones. I wanted a more volumized look. I used the Babyliss curlers for the first time on my birthday for a night out. Mistake! Instead of volumized defined curls, it left my hair really frizzy, and the curls looked like a messy bush. So that wasn't good at all, especially on my birthday and as I was going out. I use curling tongs like this... (read more)

I'm hopeless at hairstying but this works for me. The only slight drawback (as with all hair styling appliances) is doing the back of my head. However, my son has had a practice with it and my husband is going to try and do the back of my head later so problem solved. The curls really last. My hair is medium length and on the thin side. This makes my hair look thicker than it actually is. Very pleased with it. (read more)

A few weeks ago my sister asked me to curl her hair, which is quite long and very thick. Using the instructions that came with the Babyliss 2330 Curl press curling tongs, I started with the underneath of her hair working my way up. It took me a total of 4 hours in all to complete her hair. The end results were satisfactory, except that her hair had a square look from the roots. (read more)

I have used the Babyliss Curl Press tongs only once so they were a complete waste of money. You can only use them on thin strands of hair, it would take hours to do a full head of hair! Normal tongs are easier and produce better results in quicker time. (read more)

Having wasted money on many differrent curling tongs I can say that Babyliss 2330U Curl Press is one of the best I have ever used. It creates perfect curls which last! I would say though that it might not be the best choice for very thick hair as it does take quite a while to do a full head. (read more)

I bought these curlers when I was about...12/13? I'm 16 now, and they still work as good as they ever did.
They are AMAZING!
I tried loads of curlers, but the curls never lasted past about 30 minutes.
I have thick long hair, so that's probably why.
I read about the pressing action making curls last longer, so I gave them a try at only £20.
They will last until you next wash your hair! Usually you'd need hairspray, but you don't with these. You can leave them as tight curls, or you can even...
