    Good Points: Managed to straighten my extremely curly hair and it lasted the whole day.


    Bad Points: Undurable - broke after 6 months
    Poor service


    General comments: My remington broke after 6 months - it was still under guarantee so I took it back and the remington agents refused to fix it claiming that I had cut my cord AND dropped it. I had done NEITHER! It worked really well in those 1st 6 months and I was really satisfied.

    wet 2 straight, no hair dryer, no BOFFY HAIR

    My Remington S8200 Wet to Straight Wide Hair Straightener has lasted for about 2 years and heats up quickly but a fuse has recently come loose which is a bit dangerous and i never even move it that much

    it is not good if you want to straighten your hair when wet even though that's the whole point of it and you have to go over your hair a few times to make sure its straight

    It works well as a dry straightener. It does not straighten my wet hair, I think hair would have to be very thin, nearly dry, and almost straight to begin with. I have thick, slightly wavy (not even curly) hair, and it does nothing on my hair when wet.

    As above I have found it really hard to get even an address to send my straighteners to have them repaired I live in Belfast.

    GREAT! It is better than I expected. I have very coarse, thick, curly, and hard to manage hair. With this straightener I got my straight and silky. If feels healthy and it looks great! I mostly just use it on the wet setting. So far, so good.

    Leaves hair smooth and gives hair shine. Although they do take a while to straighten my hair. I borrowed the Remington S8200 Wet to Straight Wide Hair Straightener from a friend.

    TERRIBLE!! OK, that may sound a bit harsh. At first the Remington S8200 Wet to Straight Wide Hair Straighteners are wonderful. They work well, and they produce an amazing result, but after about 1 year and 6 months I realised what a useless piece of junk they really are! The wire became loose, and the LED fails to light. It basically fails to perform to its 2 year guarantee!

    Remington need to sort out what they are going to sell, and they need to make sure it's good quality merchandise! These ...

    What can I say - simply the BEST straighteners by a million miles! I've had GHD and another set of Remington (which were also better than GHD) but these really do take some beating! My hair is really thick and curly and on the first day of washing always looks like candyfloss (without a K) despite how much product I use and how many times I go over it - but not anymore!!!     Bought the Remington S8200 Wet to Straight for my girlfriend and she has been particularly grateful ever since. She reckons that these are belting set of straighteners and leave her hair 'poker straight'.

    Sounds good enough to recommend to me. Get your girlfriend one of these and you won't regret it.
