Good Points: Ipod input! Fantastic sound quality Well thought out and designed Looks great Easy to use Portable
Bad Points: RRP is not cheap (£150)
General comments: I bought this Pure Digital Evoke 2 XT from Dixons for £95 (I got them to price match an Evoke 2 on sale in Argos - they matched it and gave me 10% of the difference). :)
One of my main reasons for buying this particular DAB radio is that it's got a 3.5mm input so you can plug an ipod or anything else into it and use it as a set of portable speakers. Very very handy feature.
The sound quality is really impressive for the size of the unit - it can fill an average room nicely. There's a good bass response and the clarity is perfect. It's got good features but unlike a lot of audio equipment it's not full of cheap useless gimmicks. It's simple, well thought out, and very well made.
DAB radio is really wonderful and I don't have to be stuck with listening to chart crap on Radio 1 or the awful local commercial station. 6 Music, XFM, World Service, there's always something good on. I'm now saving to get DAB put in my car...
