Good Points: Many automatic shooting modes, quick access. Infinite manual settings. Once familiar with the camera, its quirks were easy to compensate for.
Bad Points: Doesn't boot up quick enough, over-compensates for various light levels. Too much red in low light photos.
General comments: For a $600.00 camera, I am very impressed with the Olympus SP350. I bought 3, the first one has not worn out yet with over 7,000 photos, model shoots, nature shoots, video with sound use. I used this camera for my latest high resolution coffee table book "The Rose Story", with many closeup macro photos of roses from all over the United States. Battery life rating based on CR-V3 L-ion. Image quality blows me away, as good as any SLR 35mm I've used.
