I was looking for a good all-in-one camera within a decent price range (200-300). Earlier options were the Panasonic FZ5, Canon S80, Nikon 7900 and Canon IS 2. I liked the anon PowerShot A620 for its 7.1MP resolution, tilt-twist screen, 4 optical zoom, manual controls, good macro, reasonably compact size, and all at a very affordable price.

This is my first Canon camera, but I must say, it is very easy to use. Although missing some silly features as mentioned above!

I have an A620 and easily get over 450 shots from my 2500mh batteries. If there is another camera on this planet that does better then please tell me what it is!
<br>Read the manual and it will tell you how to delete individual shots or a whole file. Its there in print.
