Good Points: Runs on fresh air - well almost. Starts well even when left for a month. Handles well. Looks good. Brilliant value for money.
Bad Points: Choke difficult to reach. Centre stand weak. Chrome very poor (don't get it wet!).
General comments: The X-Stream Commuter Classic is good fun and brilliant for the price. However, you must be gentle with it and look after it. I suspect it won't take much rough treatment. Having said that I would recommend it as mine has proved very reliable and the engine seems fine. However - remember you get what you pay for and the quality of build is not in the same league as Honda!

The design of the X-Stream Commuter Classic 125 is pretty simple and the constructing is strong, but there's no boot for any chains and locks, so if you try to go faster than 70mph it kind of slows down. For a mere 80 pound you can get it to go faster, about 20mph faster indeed, by putting better air filters and better exhaust. I think some of them are restricted, like till you do a certain amount of miles, so you do less damage to the engine. This bike is also very powerful. My friend and I wen ...

Generally this X-Stream Commuter Classic is a great wee bike, mine was £580 taxed, registered and delivered in a crate. It took a couple of hours build and was pretty straight forward which was lucky as there were no instructions. I have put about 1500 miles on it over the winter to and from work, washing it regularly and it is kept garaged. It has needed work on the brakes that quickly got clogged up, I don't think they were greased up to begin with. The speedo cable needed replaced, and ...

I got My X-Stream Commuter Classic off eBay for a bargain price of £380 + £160 P&P!! They register it and tax it for you which is included in the price. I expected to get what I paid for really, but I am amazed at the quality of the bike. It is based on the old Honda CG's. It runs like a dream and will easily cruise at 60+ MPH once broken in, be careful not to put too much stress on the engine for the first 300 Miles, I would suggest keeping it below 7,000 Rpm, this should ensure th ...

Overall the X Stream Commuter Classic is a good bike but it's difficult to find spare parts. I like it very much, if we compare with Honda CG125 then both has simillar things but only difference is that price and design. Otherwise X-Stream and CG125 both has a same format and power I like X-stream

I bought this X-Stream Commuter Classic 125 on Ebay to take my test. It cost me £461 + £160 for delivery, tax, registration & number plates, making £621. You can get them cheaper if the bidding is light. It comes in a crate for you to do the final assembly, which I spent a day doing carefully. At least you know who to blame if it falls to pieces!
I was surprised at the quality. All the mechanical bits seem first class. The finish on the engine is immaculate. The welding lo ...
