Good Points: Very exciting and excellent directing. Original and very well done.
Bad Points: Leaves some major bits out from the books.
General comments: The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy is undoubtedly some of the best movies in a decade. Based off the books by J.R.R Tolkien, the Lord Of The Rings trilogy are directed by Peter Jackson. Starting off with The Lord Of The Rings - The Fellowship Of The Ring. In which it starts off with a story of how there were rings of power made for leaders of each of the main racers, but then how a master ring was forged by an evil Lord Sauron. The rest of the film then follows the tale of the hobbit held with the master ring after some centuries of Sauron's reign over middle - earth. The hobbit, Frodo then discovers he is in mortal danger with the ring, but cannot get out of it as it is taking control of him.
The next film is, The Lord Of The Rings - The Two Towers. This sequel is another great film, with the story getting more complicated and exciting, more characters are introduced and more battles. This sequel loses none of it's potency or excitement from the last as the quest goes on to destroy the ring of power,(which conveniently can only be destroyed from where it was made in the middle of the evil lands).
The final film, The Lord Of The Rings - The Return Of The King, sees Aragorn, the rightful king of a large part of middle earth, on his journey to reclaim the throne. Plus the quest of the destruction of the ring of power, (which is how all Sauron's evil will be destroyed) come to an end. This is last and Debatebly the most exciting part of the trilogy. Peter Jackson, uses some great techniques and ideas which is what really makes these films a masterpiece.
