Good Points: Deep, dark, even bluing; adjustable cheekpiece and butt plate; stippled pistol grip and forestock; fingertip grooves on stock; grooved aluminum trigger; steel and wood construction; two stage adjustable trigger; accurate and powerful.

Bad Points: No sling mounts; a bit muzzle heavy because of the barrel sleeve.

General comments: I bought my Beeman R-11 because I wanted a powerful, accurate, high quality break barrel air rifle.

When my R-11 arrived from Straightshooters, I installed a Tech Force 6X24 40MM scope held by a Sportsmatch two piece mount.

Before heading to my shooting range, I adjusted the cheek piece and butt plate to my liking. I left the trigger at the factory setting.

At my shooting range, I set up a course of field targets, water filled balloons, and Daisy Shatter Blast targets. Distance to targets ranged from 10 yards to 70 yards. I sighted in the rifle to hit center at 35 yards.

Once the rifle settled down, I had no trouble scoring hits. Balloons burst, field targets fell, and shatter blast targets disintegrated when struck by the Crosman 7.9 Premiers.

I hung 20 waters balloons on a fence 70 yards away. After a few sighting shots, I hit every balloon. Holdover was about 3.5 inches.

I own several other Weihrauch air rifles, so I knew there wouldn't be unpleasant surprises from my R-11.

My scoped R-11 weighs about 10.5 pounds, so it becomes a chore to carry it. There are no sling mounts. This is the only weakness I can identify.

The R-11 is well made. It is accurate and powerful. For me, these attributes contribute to pride of ownership.
