John Smiths Extra Smooth beer is soapy and bubbly with little flavour.
Really, as a beer drinker, if this was my only choice I would consider Guinness or Carling!! Or sobriety. Personally, when I was 15 I started drinking Watney Red and Worthington E, so I shouldn't moan. John Smiths Extra Smooth is children's beer like they were.

Guinness is too heavy, Caffrey's (my former favourite) is too sweet. Lager is mostly laughable; too gassy and too chemically packed. Only occasionally is there a good one.
John Smiths Extra Smooth Beer is excellent all the time!! I've managed to convert a lot of my mates to it, even though it is usually perceived as an 'old man's beer'. Even the girls like it. Just recently I've tried John Smiths Extra Cold, which is even better. Extra Cold is not sold in many places though, but Extra Smooth ...
