Got a puncture in my wee van (combo) so, got the tyre weld out. Inflated the tyre, topped up air at next garage and procedded to run around for the next 6 months with the tyre weld doing fine. Only changed the tyre when it was at its limit. Next time I got a puncture, same process with the can but it didn't work at all.

I had a slow puncture on my rear tyre on a Sunday afternoon after going over a large pothole on the A4. I couldn't get in to a garage anywhere and this product was a great stop-gap; the tyre inflated and I was able to drive over 100 miles without issue afterwards until I had time to schedule a permanent repair. It was simple to use and the excess foam simply came out of the air valve. Please be aware this is a temporary solution and you'll need a permanent, professional repair - this is just to tide you over until you're able to get to a garage and it beats the cost that the RAC was going to charge to come out (£141 as a non-member, plus £31.99 membership!) I now keep one of these in my vehicle at all times as I was so impressed with it :)

I used Holts Tyreweld for the first time last Saturday on the M1 when my front nearside picked up a nail. The product worked really well and was a much quicker repair than changing the wheel. I had a tyre pump on board so was able to adjust the tyre to the correct pressure after running for a short distance (as recommended). I then ran the tyre for 2 days with no problems. Contrary to the reviewers comments of 22nd March 2008, my local tyre depot repaired the tyre for the normal puncture repair cost. Works well but you need to carefully read the lengthy instructions. Probably would not fully inflate a large tyre (so a foot pump is a useful accessory with this product).

Every car should have Tyreweld, especially the lady's car.
