Good Points: The label looks good. Good adverts in the past
Bad Points: Pretty much everything else
General comments: In my opinion truly awful, little more than marketing in a bottle. Not even brewed in the US anymore for the main part. Brewed with a collection of various grains, rather than barley which is what beer should be made from.
Advertised as tasting "Fresh". For "fresh" read bland.
People who like beer don't like Budweiser.
Still, I'd drink it if it was all there was available (and have done in the past).

Its the biggest beer in the world for two simple reasons, A) good timing to using railcars to ship it across the US. B) good use of marketing to keep drumming it into people's heads.
Budwieser is the reason the US instituted the electoral college, because clearly Americans don't choose based on quality- Read Guest's review (91 words)

When I think of Budweiser, I think of America. It conjures up images of Yankee games, backyard barbeque's, and hot, long summer days on The Lake. Budweiser is as American as apple pie- Read beerman5891's review (66 words)

I've been a Budweiser drinker for years. It's still the most refreshing lager in the world. AB doesn't have the world's best selling beer for no reason.- Read gauchoamigo's review (36 words)

Avoid Bud my friends and if you prefer your beer from the USA and in a bottle, then drink Coors Light or Miller Genuine Draft. For some reason if I buy myself a few crates of them "mini" Buds my kids are instantly interested and need to be warned this is beer and not Cola.- Read Anonymous101's review (166 words and 1 comment)

I can easily see why some dislike the lack of taste in Budweiser, but I find it refreshing, especially on a hot summers day, when fully chilled. I would definitely not recommend it warm as all lagers taste better cold! It is overpriced. If it were re-marketed in the UK as a cheap and cheerful lager rather than a 'quality' product then it would probably have more fans. I enjoy Budweiser, but I would drink it more often if it were a lot cheaper. It tastes refreshing, especially when cold, but tast ...- Read tomdickharry's review (119 words and 1 comment)

As an American, I have never understood why this ersatz lager has come to represent the norm by which other beers are judged. Budweiser is a pale shadow of a beer, feebly hopped, and containing so many simple-sugar adjuncts in place of malt, that it hardly tastes like a beer at all. It has a strange sicky-sweet flavor, no mouth feel, no body, and just the slightest hint of hops. If you choose to drink it, be sure it is ice cold, so as to numb the palate to its offensive flavor. This is not a ...- Read haladir's review (128 words)

This American "beer" tries to ape a continental lager and fails miserably. Budweiser advertising even making a point of how fresh it is. Totally missing the point the word lager means store. The beer is made of rice maize and who knows what else. Malt Hops Water and Yeast are all that are required to make the world's best beers.- Read Bikermann's review (65 words)

A triumph of marketing over decent flavoursome beer. Budweiser beer tastes AWFUL. Have you ever drunk it at room temperature? Then you'll discover just how horrible this is. Take my advice, try the REAL Budweiser Budvar from the Czech republic, and leave this for the chavs.- Read cliffxtc's review (60 words)

After trying many differant beers and lagers, Budweiser has to be my least favourite. It's tasteless, bland and lacks any real character. I also find it very gassy. If you are a StellaKrononburg fan, avoid at all costs.- Read hardingl's review (44 words)

Budweiser is an easy beer to drink, unlike many other beers. Does not give a violent effect of the alcohol in your system. It comes on very slowly. After having tried this drink, I find it hard to drink anything else without expecting the perfection Budweiser delivers.- Read addictive kayak's review (72 words)
