Good Points: Unique, refreshing, mysterious, exciting.
Though it is expensive and short-lived I haven't found anything even close to being similar.

Bad Points: It doesn't last nearly as long as it should for the price.
    Not enough sillage.
    Difficult to acquire.
Definitely not for everyone or for every mood.

General comments: I love Frederic Malle's En Passant, L'artisan's Dzing! and Demeter's Dirt(in that order), and Serge Lutens Iris Silver Mist resides within that lovely pungeant world of fragrances. It reminds me of a fresh cucumber still covered with warm, moist earth. The drydown is a beautiful, cold metallic iris. It isn't very long lasting, but this is such an unusual and amazing fragrance that it's hard to care about how much each dab or spritz costs; you just want to keep smelling that amazing iris and benzoin smell. Less a seasonal fragrance, and more (much more) a mood fragrance, ISM is the emotional equivalent of being caught in a chilling, thunderless downpour with no umbrella...wearing a white dress; exposed and at the same time, exhilarated.
