I reversed into a car parked opposite my drive last year,( this is my only accident after 25 years of driving) and rang the company to report the accident. they were very helpful, sorted the claim out with no fuss at all, it didn't affect my no claims, the lady on the other end of the phone was very sympathetic and understanding, I have been with this insurance company for a number of years with on problem so far, the only issue I have is that sadly I may have to leave then as the renewal is a lot more than other companies, as with most companies they do not value loyal customers.

I contated Sheila's wheels today due to their price being one of the best on a price comparison website. I didn't end up going with them as my current insurance company beat their price, but the lady who took my call answered my enquiries and was friendly and helpful. If my current insurance company had not beaten their price then I would have probably gone with them, I was happy with the good attitude from the member of staff on the phone. In addition to this I was a male calling on behalf of my wife, and I got service I would have expected and given that this insurance company boasts that it helps females out the most I was pleased to know that they did not discriminate on the phone due to me being a male.

I had to make a claim last month and was dreading ringing after reading the terrible reviews here. Well you would think I was dealing with a different company. I rang them in the morning and talked to a vey nice, polite female to whom I gave a brief explanation of my accident, I was expecting lots of questions thinking they may try to get out of the claim, but not at all. By the end of the day I had had a call from their repairers and arrangements were made for them to come pick up my car and leave me a courtesy car, I didn't have to do a thing. Their repair company were very good and kept me informed what was happening with my car, they were also very polite and helpful. My claim did only involve myself (and a wall) so I suppose it was much easier to deal with, but I can certainly say that my experience with Sheila's Wheels was nothing but a good one (might not be so pleased when I get my renewal but then it's my fault I had the accident). Thank you.

Im afraid Im going to strongly disagree with all the bad reviews about Shielas Wheels. I picked them as they had the most competetive price initially. Unfortunately my car was involved in a crash a few weeks after taking out the policy. Within 5working days of notifying the insurance and them receiving pictures and description of the damage to the car they officially wrote it off. The following day I was given a very reasonable valuation, and within another 5working days I received the cheque. I found their customer service team to be friendly and efficient, and calls were always returned very quickly. I would recommend them and would use them again.

I was on holiday immediately after taking out a policy and before i went away i sent my no claims discount from my previous insurer. The policy was cancelled they did not recieve my NCD letter. I telephoned immediately and emailed a complaint. It was explained to me that it was a correct procedure to cancel and charge a fee. However, they have in good faith reimbursed me to maintain good customer relations. Good decision Sheila's Wheels!!!!!

I found the company to be reasonably easy to contact with (apparently) UK based call centres. The phone is answered quickly and they called back when they said they would. The handled the claim following an accident efficiently and the repair was carried out by a local company to a good standard. All in all, a good company to deal with.

Been with Sheila's wheels for approx 4 years. Had 3 minor claims. All have been dealt with really efficiently and I have been really pleased with the service. Would have renewed again this year, but they claim that due to changes in their underwriting strategy they could not provide a renewal quotation? This confused me - perhaps because I had 3 claims (albeit minor) in as many years. Still, whilst with them the service was very good and I would recommend them - even though I am now forced to insure elsewhere.

Insured with sheilas as was cheapest, someone hit me in the rear and they provided me with a courtesy car whilst it was being fixed and the legal company to sort my claim. Kept in touch with me throughout and didn't leave me anything to do!!! Only drawback now is that they want £193 to add my partner to the policy as a named driver so i will have to leave!!

Just having had a baby when I took out my car insurance with Sheila's Wheels insurence I had my hands full and I forgot to send proof of my no claims discount. They sent me two letters to remind and each time I phoned up to explain that I had forgotten and each time they were lovely and understanding. The first time I phoned I asked them to put a note on my account to say that I had phoned and surprisingly they had done as they confirmed this in my second call. No claims made but so far so good.

The quote really was considerably cheaper than anyone else., and it would appear that I am covered for the same things.
I have not had to make a claim or deal with Sheilas Wheels customer services, so I cannot really comment on this. Any dealings so far have been fine.

They were £100 cheaper than any other insurer. Unfortunately their out of hours call centre is based outside of the UK, but I received an excellent price from Sheilas Wheels car insurance. However, I was a little disappointed with the foreign call centre.

With all I've had to put up with this year, it's a weight of my mind knowing I am saving money with Sheilas Wheels car insurance. Renewing my car insurance is one of the jobs I don't like doing, but that made it easier.

This is just a sham to get you as a customer. I can assure you that the majority of reviewers on there are not wrong. I am female and that's why I went with them. All I will say is that you had a lucky escape.
