J17 has a fantastic layout. Big, bold and the colour scheme stands out superbly. The model stood out, she looks so fresh and elegant. J17 have put the interesting stories in big capitial letters so readers would want to read on.

I like the way the title catches your eye you think 'what a cool name' you want to find out what this magazine is really like. The model wears fantastic clothes that are in fashion, funky and cool. The way the model smiles it greets you to the magazine and makes you want to see what stories are inside, the layout of the words are good, it doesn't cover up the models face, which is the right thing to do.

J17 Magazine has lots of good stories on the cover and it gives you some detail about each heading. The cover is big and bold and stands out which I like, we can see that the model has been photographed to fit on the page not making her look like she has been squezed on it but at a good distance where it looks cool and fresh. I like the way the magazine uses shorten words for example Magazine we say 'mag' because we don't always speak everything in full words so it's fast and easy to read and ca ...

Some of the topics in J17 are very clich d for teenage girls which I think is boring. Such as the topic of boys, because adding in boys none of us teens have heard of is kinda stupid, also I didn't like the article about Kate Bosworth because I don't think she is a good role model for young teenagers as she is very skinny and I feel she encourages leaving school and education blindlessly for a career only blonde pretty rich american girls like her can get.
