Watch The Rock and a team of crack commandos blow some aliens to smitherines in the action cum sci-fi thriller. Does the big screen version of this popular computer game cut the mustard? Or should The Rock go back to the drawing board and cook up something different? Let us know what you think of this heavily hyped spectacular by writing a review.

Doom is full of gore and action from start to finish. The dialogue is cheesy, and the performances are adequate. The monster design is good, and the first person view point towards the end of the film is also a nice touch. The special effects are good, but the film can be a little too dark in places (as in lack of light, not gritty).
Doom was never going to be an Oscar winner, but as an action film it does its job quite well. It's not as good as Arnies earlier work, but I think the Rock is definitely on the way.
If you want an all out no brainer action film, then you can't really go wrong with Doom.
