“Beware of hidden charges”

We saw what was on the surface to be a great deal on a pcp for my wife. However, when the documents arrived there was and administration fee of £205 yes that's right £205 pounds. There website at no point makes any mention of added charges( ie admin fees?) the people we dealt with up to that point were very good and helpfully, prompt with replies and emails etc but this admin fee is extortionate. We are not nieve and expected a charge of some sort but £205 is ridiculous. Needless to say... (read more)

I ordered a BMW 330d in Aug 2012 for delivery in October, when they took the deposit they promised me (Darren) that the finance docs could be changed upto 4 weeks before the delivery of the car, so at the end of August I asked to change the finance docs from business to personal but they said it couldn't be done! i have just taken delivery of my ninth vehicle since 2003 and feel i need to say i have had faultless service from the same dedicated people that always deal with me and my wife.in our experience we have had 6 vans and 3 cars over the last decade and have taken vehicles on special deals everytime and have never had any issue,they have never hard sold to us and the girls i deal with are fantastic and always happy, simply the best thanks all of you.we cant reccommend freedom highly enough. “Incredibly poor service on time-limited leasing deals”

I got an incredibly good deal on a Merc from Freedomcontracts. All went fine until it came to sealing the deal and sending the final paperwork. Firstly, I had problems with insurance, I asked a few questions about what could be done if I needed to cancel. costs etc. Secondly, it had not been made clear to me that I needed to send original signed copies of paperwork to the dealer to secure the vehicle - there is a LOT of paperwork required and somehow I assumed I'd already send it and was... Overall the contact hire rate was extremely competitive and I have been pleasantly surprised how easy it is to contract hire a car. The total process from proposal to delivery has been no more than 3 weeks. Just to reiterate the point about inclusion. I believe it is incumbent upon the seller to describe the item being contracted. Road tax, fuel on delivery should all be set out at the beginning.
