I've used Jean Patrique on a number of occasions with no problems.
Both my daughter and myself have full set of pans and we both have knives.
I've bought other items.
Free gifts are always good, no rubbish.

Would totally recommend to anyone.

I have been a customer for years before the company name changed from 'The Professional Cookware Company'. I have purchased for family and friends:- 3 Complete pan sets. A Clock. 3 Knife sets and various other equipment. I have never had a problem with delivery etc. The quality of the pans is so good I wished I could have bought them 40 years ago and saved hundreds of pounds on the rubbish I did buy.

please do not use this company. the have repeadly used my ce=redit card details to duplicate my order when the goods have not been received.said will refund if I return the items but there are no items to return as not recieved
Please just avoid! customer service none exsistant!

Jean Patrique, CHEF'S FIVE PIECE KNIFE SET. If I were a professional chef I would not have bought these as I would not expect them to last long in a professional kitchen. However, for home cooking tasks these are really very good. A keen edge on all knives and no riveted handles to work loose. And at £1.25 with £9.99 postage it is a bargain.

I found Jean Patrique don't send out anything like the descriptive text in their catalogue and it's weeks before anything arrives - then it's more than likely not what you ordered anyway. I'm still waiting for a replacement product 5 weeks after the original order. I paid for Parcel Force 'tracking' which confirmed the unit was delivered the following day - Jean Patrique were still saying they hadn't received it two weeks later.

Go to a good cookware shop and buy the best you can afford. In my opinion these Jean Patrique knives are cheap and nasty but they sell them to you cheaply so what do you expect? Do not believe the hype: no professional cook or Chef would ever use something like this, trust me!

Buy a good quality sharpener and these knives should serve you well. I've had mine a couple of years and put them through the dishwasher no problem. Just need to keep them well sharpened! They're not exactly Global but then they don't cost silly money. I think they are VFM!

If you want good quality knifes for your kitchen i recommend you don ' t buy Jean Patriques pay the extra and buy Global or Sabatier the quality of the steel they use is poor, two of my knifes cracked at the handle and the blades fell off another two are now showing cracks and pitting due to carbon deposits in the steel? I feel its only a matter of time till they break as well. Customer service was poor

Come on guys, 3 Jean Patrique knives for 99p plus £8 postage, at £3 per knife that is pretty cheap. Just clean them by hand and they will do the job for years.
Why spend more money on kitchen tools you use for a few minutes a day?

I placed an order for some Jean Patrique knives and a knife block and a gravy pourer on 18th February 2008.

I received knives, the block and the gravy pourer in March, and received a letter from them dated 2nd April 2008 saying that the main knife set and 2 piece carving fork and vegetable knife set was to be delayed again until 12th May 2008.

I spoke with the Customer Services department at the end of May, as nothing had arrived, and was told it had been delayed again due to 'high demand'.

I ordered a set of knives at the beginning of May 2008 and now 3 months later they are still to arrive! The block came 4 weeks ago. I called them some 2 weeks ago to be told they had just come into stock, on phoning again to day I was told that they would not be into August 20th. We ordered a set of Jean Patrique pans (with free knives) from the Internet 4 weeks ago and paid the extra for urgent delivery. A week passed and we hadn't heard or received anything, so I called their customer services number. After lots of re-routing and being asked to call a string of different numbers, I finally reached a sales representative and was told that there had been a problem with our card, so the order hadn't been processed. One of the Jean Patrique promotional implements (the melon baller) was faulty so I emailed the company with pictures displaying the fault. 4 emails later and I have still to receive a satisfactory response. The last email response I got stated that they could not locate my address - how did they send it to me in the first place then? I will certainly never recommend this company nor use them again myself.

Received the free Jean Patrique knife set as promised.Pans are of a good standard and clean very easily.Only thing to watch when cooking - the handles heat up and a towel is required to be wrapped around the handle.Great value for money, will buy again from them.

I wish I had seen this site before i bought my Jean Patrique knifes, they are now only fit for the bin, just pay the extra for steller sabatier ones or something, you may not get as many knifes or anything free, but at least they wont rust like these did.

Jean Patrique have completely mucked up my return. Not reimbursed the full amounts. Salt/Pepper mills keep breaking so they clearly have a fault but JP wont acknowledge this and blamed the manufacturer when I spoke to them. For a company purporting to sell high end goods the service & quality I received is absolute rubbish!

Can't get off their mailing list despite repeated requests by post, telephone, email and their Web site and they have passed on my details to another company against my explicit instructions. It is impossible to get a telephone number for anything other than their sales call centre.

Poor. company to order from. I ordered my items 3 months ago and received half the order about 3 weeks later. Then the other half never arrived and heard barely anything from the company. When called the customer service was unfriendly and didn't seem to care.
