At Bathstore in Saltney, Chester, I got the finest experience and most cost-effective bathroom solution I've ever had with a planning firm. My adviser found me a solution that was at least £800 less expensive than the other price I had received. Both extremely talented and customer-focused. I'll be back if I ever need anything else from Bathstore!

I recently visited Bathstore and was impressed with the wide selection of bathroom products available. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and helped me choose the perfect bathtub and fixtures for my renovation project. The quality of the products is excellent and they have a variety of styles to fit any budget. The showroom was clean and well-organized, making it easy to navigate and find what I was looking for. Overall, I had a great experience at Bathstore and would highly recommend them for anyone in need of bathroom supplies.

We brought our bathroom from the Solihull branch of Bathstore, from beginning to end the service we received from the two people I dealt with was second to none, the quality of the products we purchase was really well made you would think we had paid a lot more money then we had. Right at the end of putting our bath room together the cabinet we purchase was found to be damaged we will over the two weeks period for sending damaged items back but upon calling them she sorted it all out and stopped the stress we were feeling the item was taken back and replace within 3 working days, now that's what I would call EXCELLENT customer service, I would 100% recommend anyone to use this company

We write to compliment you on one of your team members working in your Bath outlet. He helped us design and purchase our bathroom a couple of months ago spending a great deal of time going through the options and tweaking where necessary, nothing was too much trouble and his helpful, light hearted manner made the whole experience pleasurable. We had an issue with the shower we had chosen and returned yesterday to rectify. Once again he was on duty and once again he excelled with his customer service, helping us resolve the problem we had encountered. We would like to highlight his exceptional service and also ask that you pass our thanks on to him for the excellent way he has looked after us on both occasions.

The bathroom is very small and we wanted it updating,the bath taking out and a corner shower cubicle put in. The salesman from the Bathstore came out and came up with really good ideas,he listened to what we wanted and improved on it. The quality of everything we ordered was excellent as was the delivery and after sales service. We had a problem with the lights which was no ones fault but this was resolved very quickly. Perhaps my only criticism would be the delivery charge of £40 but I would still highly recommend the Bathstore.

When I went to my local Bathstore Commercial Road I was slightly hesitant having read some of the reviews; whilst I was happy to purchase the products my own builder/fitter had pulled out due to time constraints and I so I decided to ask for supplying and fitting. I was expecting to pay more than I had initially budgeted as my own builder usually offered a good price. I met with a salesman and we talked about my requirements and budget, he was really very helpful and informative and between us we pulled together a design that I was happy with, making the most of the space that I had. Everything was being replaced so I was prepared for a week of upheaval. To my surprise however the whole process was very simple and straightforward primarily because supplier and fitter was the same. Of course there was the odd problem with delivery and I changed my mind three times on the choice of bathroom cabinet but nothing was too much trouble. I kept in regular touch with the salesman at my local store and with the supervisor of the fitting but between them I did not have to get too involved unless it concerned making small choices of positions for fixtures. The actual fitting was done for a team of two who did a first rate job. The execution was precise and the finishing immaculate. Throughout the process they were polite and respectful both to me and to the use of my apartment whilst I was away at work. So I have now got a beautiful bathroom which not only can I enjoy but which I know has added value to my home. I really couldn't be happier with the choices made, the workmanship and the service from Bathstore. Possibly I could have got the job done a little cheaper but not I think without a lot of stress or to the high finishing standard I now have.

We only went into the Bathstore shop for some ideas, but having browsed we asked the assistant for some help. We discovered she was the showroom manager and she was really helpful, knowledgeable, patient and professional. However, in my mind she went further, she found solutions, offered us coffees, sent quick email responses and updates and was also friendly and genuinely interested in getting the best deal and bathroom for us. Great service. So far (installation half completed) great products too.

I would like to thank the guys at the Bathstore in Redditch for the excellent treatment we have received during a house renovation. We have ordered all our products for two ensuites, cloak room and bathroom from them and were really pleased by the service we received. They were extremely helpful and professional. I left everything to the last minute but the lady in the Hitchin store was really helpful and got me to send through my measurements by e-mail prior to my visit. When I arrived she had already drawn a mock up of my bathroom and added the suite I was interested in. Really helpful and everything arrived when promised. My new bathroom looks amazing.

I have read some of the reviews about Bathstore and am very sad to learn about some experiences people have mentioned about this company. My own experience has been very good. Initially, there were a couple of items missing from the delivery but that was rectified immediately I contacted Bathstore. I think with large orders, sometimes things can go wrong and the test of the company is how they behave when errors are made. The shower door once installed did not close quite properly but again, things were very quickly sorted out. I was asked to provide photographs of the problem, which I did and the company saw the problem and immediately arranged for a new shower door to be sent. Once my fitter put that in place and checked that it was working correctly, he sent me an invoice which I paid. I then provided a copy to Bathstore via e'mail and it was dealt with extremely promptly. I received the refund the next day into my bank account. I really recommend this company based on my own experience. They could not have been more helpful to me and nothing was too much trouble. Now, it can certainly be argued that is exactly what a company should do of course -- but I consider it worth pointing out when one receives prompt and good service -- especially after service when something has been pointed out. As I say though, I can only go on my own experience, but that is a true reflection of my dealings with the company. I have to say, that once the replacement of the shower door was in place, I was very impressed with the quality of the products.

Your review does not state what Bathstore did for you. You may have been lucky. My experience with Bathstore is a DISASTER! Mis-representation and mis-selling, damage to my property (I had to seek the expertise of a structural engineer and remedial work is required), faulty services and products. Bathstore are in full breach of contract but since Sept 2015, they continue to deny their legal responsibility. Their DESPICABLE behaviour even entails trying to get me to pursue my claim against THEIR OWN contractor. They even threatened me with a solicitors' letter, which I received on 23 Dec 2015 (need I say more?) when I told my story on Facebook. And I am an OAP who underwent heart surgery in Jan 2016. BATHSTORE ARE A DISGRACE!

Ordered and paid up front by debit card for new bathroom fittings from Bathstore Portsmouth on 21st June 2019. Store went under on the 26th according to my information. Delivery is due this Thursday 11th July, and a fitter is organised for next week to install. I have had NO COMMUNICATION from anyone as to whether this will be delivered or not. What is the exact situation now and what are my options? Will the goods arrive or not - if not what is my best form of redress?

Has anyone had trouble with colour of "white" bath fitted by Bathstore? Recently had 2 bathrooms installed by this company. Generally happy with everything except the "white" bath is most definitely pale grey in tone and does not match side panel or any of the other white products supplied by them. They are being very unhelpful and just say all white goods will be a different shade dependent on material product is made from. Surely the bath panel should match the bath?

Is it the normal policy for Bathstore to be paid in several weeks BEFORE ANY WORK IS DONE? If this is true, can someone explain why? Someoone paid over £7000 last year to convert a bathroom to a shower unit & sink/toilet plus floor tiling, wall tiling, plumbing, labour etc. Seems pricy labour and I've never heard of paying up front for the whole job! If Bathstore went into liquidation, customers who had to pay before the job is completed will lose all their money & no work done.

Yes, it seems to be Bathstore policy to ask customers to pay in full in advance. They make false promises on their letterhead of "fully qualified and vetted fitters, less hassle more peace of mind, guaranteed craftsmanship for 5 years" to entice clients to trust them. Which I did when I parted with my money in advance (something I have never done before). It is all a scam as it makes it easier for Bathstore to ignore their responsibility under the contract when they breach the contract - which, based on my DISASTROUS experience of their TERRIBLE SERVICES and PRODUCTS, must be a regular occurrence. Their aim is to get dissatisfied customers to claim against THEIR OWN contractors instead of themselves. I am now 68 and BATHSTORE is the WORST COMPANY I have ever dealt with. They caused damage to my property (I had to seek advice from a structural engineer), none of the equipment works as it should in addition to mis-representation, faulty design, survey, advice, installation. BATHSTORE continue to WASH THEIR HANDS OFF MY CLAIM since their works in my home in Sept 2015. And this, despite my undergoing heart surgery in Jan 2016. They even threatened me through a solicitors' letter received on 23 DECEMBER 2015 when I told my story on Facebook. BATHSTORE IS DESPICABLE! The sooner they go out of business, the better to stop them wreaking havoc in people's lives!

Reputable builders only ask for the cost of the materials upfront or let the customers pay for the materials. The Bathstore is one of those companies that should be avoided. If anything goes wrong afterwards their customer services will laugh at you and tell you to get on your bike and most of their stuff does fail. When it does fail they will push you from pillar to post until you finally give up.

Yes it is true you have to pay upfront. We had them install our bathroom and I was extremely unhappy about paying it all upfront. So much so I would have told them to stick it except my wife had set her heart on it. I even tried to withhold 10% but to no avail. They did do a good job and I am pleased with the result but I would not use them again for that reason. Incidentally it took them nearly five months to return to fit three extra fittings.

I only bought the materials which I paid up front for. Would strongly recommend you find a local fitter which will be seriously cheaper. No way should you pay up-front for fitting.

Has anyone had problems with paying a deposit in a Bathstore sale? Having been rushed to purchase late on a Sunday evening to get a so-called extra 10%, only to find that prices for some of the ordered items are actually significantly cheaper after the sale has ended because, (according to Bathstore), another sale has started the following day? Currently Bathstore won't budge but I find this immoral. Any advice would be appreciated.

An update: Bathstore have now agreed to refund the difference on the item in question. As the amount was £240, this wasn't an insignificant amount so I'm glad its been sorted. The person who sorted was entirely reasonable. The person who caused the problem was not so I guess it comes down to the training and ability of who one deals with. Hopefully this will help others - and check prices between paying a deposit and delivery on expensive items- the difference can be substantial.

With continual discounting in retail these days I find this a constant irritation not just with Bathstore. The Bathstore shop that I use (and have had excellent service from over the last 4 years) is a franchise and therefore owned by its staff. I never get the hard sell from them and they make sure that I always get the best deal that they are aware of even if it means not putting through the order for a day

Has anyone had problems with the Bathstore frame for slimstone shower base? We had it fitted, but when the shower doors and side panel were put on frame, it couldn't take the weight and made base leak on base warp.

Possibly a stupidly obvious observation, but the shower base WAS mounted on a solid base, wasn't it? If not, perhaps this might be worth trying - have the base re-fitted but on a very solid 1" marine ply slab. Good luck with it!

Thanks Nyree 13 We have waste pipes so bought the frame recommended by bathstore on their site, instructions very limited, and doesn't mention ply, it says just silicone onto the metal frame. We think the frame is not sufficient and that's the problem, wondered if we were the only ones.
