Absolutely bloody useless. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Ordered a sink and agreed their delivey suggestion. Took time off work only to get a message with an hour left spare to say they'd run out of delivery time. Called delivery men and this was apparently due to the Bridgewater carnival!!!! Called the store today who had no clue what was going on. Today is the second day I've wasted off wotk with no sink. This is all the more galling as we tried to pick up stock from the store but of course this is not the way they opperate. Get yourselves sorted out bathstore.

We were building a new ensuite and had never ventured into Bathstore as it just looked expensive. We ordered a basin stand, basin and tap from an internet site (now gone bust) and a shower cubicle with built in shower (Zone) from B&Q. Luckily the basin and stand were great and cheap at the price, but we had a complete nightmare with the shower from B&Q which flooded our house and had major defects in the design. B&Q washed their hands of it - no pun intended - and we had to remove from our ho ...- Read Guest's review (259 words)

purchased a maxi bathroom cabinet from bath store sheffield in approx jan 2008 1/2 price at £100 lovely cabinet but the mirror began to deteriorate after some months at the bottom, can't remember when it started but very disappointed. However at the end of october 2009 some 21 months after purchase i popped in to the sheffield branch and metioned the problem. the lady in there was fantastic saying that shouldn't happen and to just bring it in and they would just swap it i couldn't believe ...- Read Guest's review (117 words)

Do not touch with a barge pole they only seem interested in your money. Expensive prices cheap quality. Useless delivery servic. Bad communication, people on the phone number are rude and dismissive. I was told to shut up by someone. Never again, Avoid these like the plague you have been warned- Read Guest's review (52 words)

Bathstore promised delivery of goods within 10 days. Some month later when WE queried where goods were (they hadn't bothered to write/call), it appears that they weren't in stock after all and suddenly all very vague about delivery dates - far from ideal with the installation dates already booked. Hellish job getting them to even understand that this poses a problem and refund.
Shall neither do business with this company nor recommend to anyone in future.- Read Guest's review (76 words)

Bathstore was appealing for a mid-market bathroom, as in the sale it was slightly cheaper than competitors such as Homebase or B&Q, and its range was wider. I bought the big sanitary items (sink, loo, bath…) as it is expensive for accessories (taps, shower screens etc.) compared to internet retailers. Sales and marketing are good - very clear website and catalogue, glossy shop and helpful staff made ordering easy. Delivery was on time, but be careful as Bathstore use single-driver lorri ...- Read Guest's review (349 words)

Initially, I thought Bathstore was the best thing ever - looks expensive but cheap prices. Recommended to all my friends. Kitted out one shower room and one bathroom. First problem came when the alusatin feet for the bath didn't turn up. Was told they were discontinued and I would have to have some off the display bath. Several months later and they are still advertised on the website! Next, when I came to fit the bath, realised I didn't have a bath trap (hadn't actually ordered one so not thei ...- Read Guest's review (240 words)

Bathstore are to be avoided at all costs, unless you are the kind of person who enjoys replacing their Bathroom every 18 months.
If you have a refund outstanding from this store then waste no time and issue County Court Claim against them. This can be done online for £35. This is the only thing that motivates them. It seesm to be working for me. The Sale of Goods Act governs items sold to consumers tat are not fit for purpose....use it! we pay taxes for legislation such as this.

Ordered a Shower head from Bathstore as the one I had bought from B&Q did not fit properly, needed it urgently as we only had the builders into fit for one more day. The delivery turned up on time but they had sent completely the wrong item. After much phoning the store I was promised that I would have the correct one delivered within the next two days. As they would not give me a time that it would come I had to wait in ALL day at a loss of income for something that of course never came. As I w ...- Read Guest's review (142 words)

My Bathstore delivery came in three different loads 2 of them at different times/ days to that promised. Goods were missing, goods were broken and the staff did not give a damn. The sink and support frame the Camberley Branch sold me as fitting together did not. It was only after speaking to the technical helpline I was told they were not compatable. Finally after all the delays I wanted to exchange a bath screen for a sink that fitted and I was told I had had it over 28 days and it could not be ...- Read Guest's review (95 words)

Had a problem with a radiator purchaed from the Bathstore. When I rang up to compain they were having nothing to do with it and told me to get my central heating system checked over. (I only have the new system installed 6 months ago!!!!!). Totally washed their hands of me. Said I was very disappointed with the service I had received and that I would not be recommending them at all.
I suggest people steer clear, nice looking items, of the lowest quality.- Read Guest's review (83 words)

Purchased items from Bathstore for a complete bathroom and cloakroom. Returned two items separately under the Bathstore 28 days returns policy; bath panels - took four weeks and plenty of hard chasing before receiving a cheque refund, and, a shower basket - returned on 24th July. To date (16/9/09) after numerous phone calls and visit to the local store I have still not received a refund. If I had known before making my purchase that Bathstore's 28 days returns policy would mean I would have to ...- Read Guest's review (94 words)

After 2 failed deliveries and a month of waiting for a standard steel bath I had to cancel my order with Bathstore and get a refund. Was informed that they had issues with their warehouse and delivery systems preventing them from fulfilling their advertised Delivery Promise. No centralised customer services and no real management structure so reliant on helpless store staff resolving issues outside of their control.- Read Guest's review (66 words)

Bought these didn't fit returned to Bathstore same day (July 29th) told refund would be in 2 weeks as of today 8th Sept still waiting - their pathetic excuse changed warehouses - whats that got to do with it??
Once they get your money they are not interested - don't return phone calls (thats if you can get them to answer the phone) and try to put the blame on the customer- Read Guest's review (71 words)

Staff at bathstore were very helpful in getting the info i required on certain items and getting the items ordered. I made payment and left the shop with a receipt and a list of items which had been ordered. They told me the bathroom suite would be delivered the following Tuesday and I would get a phone call the day before stating a 3 hour time slot for delivery. On the Saturday I had a phone call saying the mirror was out of stock and could I wait till Thursday. I said yeah that's fine. Monday ...- Read Guest's review (166 words)

Bathstore. Admittedly I have only bought in the recent sale. Picked up some washbasins for £79 (original price £250) and a toilet. Had I have bought at original price I'd be fuming, poor quality and finish i.e not particularly square or straight edges and inadequate fittings. More like manufacturers seconds.
Will keep them because I liked the style and can disguise the faults but for quality I'd say look elsewhere first and wait for their sale if you really want something from them ...- Read Guest's review (114 words)

Buy from Bathstore but DON'T have anything delivered! We bought main suite items and picked up from the shop, all no problem. Helpful staff in store etc. BUT, had to have the bath delivered as too big to collect.
That's where the trouble started.
1. Couldn't provide a time slot - all day anytime!
2. Said they'd call me an hour before delivery - didn't
3. Turned up but in shower so they left promptly, didn't call
4. Very unhelpful on calling store and lied profusely
5. Said it would be re sched ...- Read marcho's review (109 words)

Bathstore very helpful when selling. However, Bathstore state they will refund on any purchases returned to them within 28 days. I purchased alot of items and returned two items separately. In both cases I have had to chase hard to get a refund. I am still awaiting for a refund on the second item and it has taken over a month so far. Bathstore state I should receive a cheque in a week's time. I have been told this for the last two weeks!- Read Guest's review (83 words)

This is only my second purchase from Bathstore and will definitely be the last. We bought a bath that turned out to have an egg shell crack under the protective film (a manufacture fault only discovered after fitting!). After a lengthy battle with unhelpful staff it was finally replaced. Less than two years ago I purchased a bathroom cabinet from the Newport store at a 'sale' price of £70 (supposedly £120 full price). The silvering has now begun to wear off. With only one except ...- Read Guest's review (153 words and 1 comment)
