    Good Points: Friendly helpful staff and good understanding of technical knowledge. 3D excellent design service instore which is useful for imaging our dream bathroom. Efficient delivery service

    Bad Points: short staffed and location hard to find at first.

    General comments: Good quality of products at Bathstore and free spare parts even after 2 years of having a wc fitted. Even when staff didn't know answer to questions, they phoned and spoke to informative technical team within minutes i had technical drawings of measurements of my bath and wc and knew how to put in the waste correctly. Would recommend the Bathstore Bristol Filton Branch as they take their time to help even when rushed off their feet.

    After spending nearly 2k with Bathstore we discovered a missing part and were told that they could not help us as we signed for the delivery. I felt as though I was being accused of stealing a plug! I will not be returning for my accessories so they have just lost approx £300- £400 and i will be telling other people after i have been back to the shop and told them what I think of their after sales.

    We are currently in the process of replacing a Cambridge Roll Top Bath, which after only 4 years of use split from end to end. We initially tried to claim on our house insurance, but they couldn't help us as they felt it was a manufacturing fault. We then contacted our supplying branch of bathstore (Cheadle).     We ordered a Sink and Toilet recently from Bathstore, Bishops Stortford. It was to be delivered on Thursday 3/7/08. We were called that day to be told the delivery van broke down, but they would arrive next day. Waited in all day and did not receive a phone call to say not today either. Now its Monday 7/7/08, and after complaining, was told it would arrive Thursday 10/7/08. We cancelled the order.

    Bath Store has not a bad range of products but a bit like a budget airline - if everything goes well it's great but the moment some thing does happen you're on your own. That includes getting the wrong product and lack of correct delivery time.

    I chose a square edge back to the wall pan with seat , hand basin and taps. The delivery arrived on the due date at 7:30am as i was leaving for work. When i got back and on inspection found that they had delivered a bidet instead of the toilet and round seat cover instead of the square one. I rang the Birmingham store where i had purchased it from and they said it was either the driver or warehouse pickers fault.     The whole idea that we have prove that it is the store fault, for providing us with a enclosure that leaks,is terrible ,with have taken photographs as evidence and use the other media such as our cam recorder. This has been stressful experience and i would not use bathstore again.

    Having gone over budget, due to plumbing difficulties, on our bathroom we decided to return our luxury taps. Having checked with the store in Wimbledon that a returns policy existed they assured us that we'd be fine. When I handed the taps over one of the boxes had minor damage. The sales assistant said she was sure it would be ok, and that if I didn't hear back from them within 5 days the refund would be paid.     As we only went in to the Store to purchase a seat cover and came away with £1500 of goods we would say that on the whole our experience of Bathstore was a postive one and would certainly go back when we come to re-fit our en-suite.Goods are good quality and well priced and as they seem to have a permanent sale event on all the time you can always save money against list.     I found this experience to be a nightmare! I was charged £17.00 for delivery for an order of £332.30 (bathroom accessories only i.e toilet roll holder etc) They still charged us this price to have them delivered to my local store; therefore the customer has to pay. If we wanted home delivery we were told it would be (between 7:00am and 6:00pm -what a nightmare, they can't even provide delivery slots, be warned even if you choose to have the items delivered to your local store be ...

    There are many better places to go. Only got my refund after sending a recorded delivery letter to CEO of Bathstore after the Perth franchise refused. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

    Although cheap, getting my bathroom suite from bathstore has not been worth any saving. I found two faulty items immediately after delivery, which they insisted I brought into the store myself four days later for a replacement. The toilet was slightly misshapen, which I only noticed after installation and decided to live with.     The staff at the West Wickham shop were very knowledgable and helpful. We have not changed our bathroom for a long time and did not realise that we had to consider such things as water pressure. It was a pleasure dealing with them. Excellent service. I can only highly recommend www.bathstore.com.

    Having had confirmation via text and verbally from the store the day before delivery date, our goods failed to materialise on the day. Had I not phoned the shop 3 hours after delivery time (I only knew this, as we were meant to be the first drop-off), I would have waited in for nothing all day, and they'd never have told me. As it was, three people had already been inconvenienced.

    Very expensive. We placed an order with Bathstore and the sales advisor put 3 of the 6 items we ordered through wrong, and we ended up with completely the wrong stuff!

    Our experience has been good (so far - it hasn't been delivered yet!!) but I'm really unhappy with their delivery policy and find it discriminatory. I have no idea if a 2-man delivery option is available, but if it is, it will be chargeable which is again discriminatory against those who are unable to assist in the unloading of heavy bathroom furniture.

    disappointing range displayed at shirley. order delivered, checked, all ok but problems at installation. toilet constantly leaking, pedestal didn't fit cloakroom sink, taps were too big for sink, tap holes were uneven, washers supplied were wrong size, a piece inside the cistern part was missing and i had to go get it from wickes. towel rail loose. customer service girl was unhelpful and uninformative.the shop assured me that they couldn't contact the delivery driver. i couldn't get an answer by ...

    Having been assured by the bathstore salesman that they only sell premium quality products, when the delivery arrived, nothing could be further from the truth. The porcelain is very badly moulded, and the glaze thin and rippled. Guess what, once they've got you money they are not interested in you as a customer. Check out their returns policy, once you've opened the box.
