Good Points: Consistant shooter properly adjusted 1 hole groups are posible at 100 yards great trigger reduced recoil (about the same as a .270)detactable clip.
Bad Points: Haven't found any exept for the noise (wear muffs)
General comments: I've owned the Browning A bolt 300 for about eight years now and haven't missed anything yet my furthest shot with it so far was 350 yards. The boss on the end adjusts for the oscillations in the barrel (they all have em) and I actually adjusted factory 150's to pass through a single hole (gun in vise)[I couldn't hold that tight]finally had to put tape on the back side of target to prove to myself they where pass throughs and not misses. (definitely pass throughs. I don't go to that length to adjust it anymore but it's nice to know you can. Today I settle for 1/8" at 100 yards it's good enough for deer hunting. After all you have to put some limits on your abilities . Woodchucks beware if I do find a place where I can safely shoot long distance with a .30 cal without skipping you can't hide.
