Good Points: Quiet complex within walking distance of town. Very clean and well-maintained.

Bad Points: No late room check out available in high season due to apartments being fully booked and maid service finishes at 3.30pm.

General comments: First time to Corralejo, booking a few weeks before we travelled. Would recommend top floor apartment, as these come with a balcony at the front and back of the apartment which is lovely for a cooling breeze in the evening. Also these apartments are quieter and more private, compared with those on the ground floor which come with a small patio. Kitchen was separate from the dining and seating area. Both kitchen and bathroom looked new, as did curtains. Kitchen had both kettle and toaster, and quite a bit of storage space. Plenty of utensils for basic cooking. All very clean, as was apartment.
Agree the floor and door noise could be a problem especially if on ground floor level. But not as bad as this may sound, would just recommend you take earplugs if you are light sleeper.
Whole complex very clean and well maintained. When we had problem with light fitting this was soon sorted out. Would say pool could seem cold, ideal to cool off but not to stay in for any great length of time, which was a bit of a shame. Gym had plenty of weight-lifting equipment and bicycles, although no expert on these matters and never used. No table tennis, but table football.
Supermarket around the corner from complex very well stocked and good produce.
Very pleased with the complex, better than I had expected after reading reviews before I went. Wanted a quiet, relaxing holiday and found this ideal. Teenagers could find the complex too quiet for more than a week, but we heard no complaints from our daughter.
We ate out in town in the evening and found a wide variety of restuarants. We walked into town, but if you have very small children you may find it a bit too far, depending on how you like walking.
If you like to eat steaks I would highly recommend Mirando al Sur, never seen steaks like we had there or tasted as good. It is not on the main street but mentioned in guides, well worth the look for.

Second time back to Corralejo, but previously stayed at San Valentin. This time, the reviews for the Playa Park Club were generally good and, after looking at the website, we were looking forward to this one, too.
When the taxi pulled up outside, I was a little nervous, as it doesn't look quite the same as the brochure picture. Good lighting for the photo, I guess!
We were in booked into a studio room (which is a glorified hotel room), so had asked for an upstairs room - the reviews had offe ...
