Bad Points: keeps losing the channels. And it's not turned off at the wall but left on standby each day.

I think the Bush IDPVR801B is value for money, its easy to use and records well. The only thing wrong with mine is that sometimes when its recording it reboots in between therefore it stops recording which is really annoying.

The Bush IDPVR801B Freeview box is a good value for money hard disc PVR from internal Freeview tuner. It may have some bugs in the firmware for record and playback; my one loses sound after a spell in standby, and some play back jumps forward, although the actual recording is there when you step back and replay. If these glitches can be ironed out by a swap of my unit then it is better than good for the money. No record of pay per view channels is probably in the price.

I bought a Bush IDPVR801B Freeview receiver/hard disk recorder from Tesco for £99.
For the price I think it's fairly good. It's particularly good for time shifting and skipping adverts.
It's not an all singing all dancing device, but it is good for what it is, a Freeview recorder.
