    Good Points: Looks


    Bad Points: No extra low simmer
    No oven calibration


    General comments: The Viking 48" Professional Series gas stove had defects right out of the box. The small oven had a bad burner creating gas smells. The large oven was not calibrated to correct temps. The griddle will not cook anything over 150 degrees. It needs a new thermostat. It's been 8 weeks since we called for repairs, and all the problems are still not corrected. These items should have been corrected at the factory. I guess quality control took the day off.
    My friend bought a Viking cooktop, and it's been over 6 months, and her cooktop is still not fixed.
