Spent a good time explaining options for my new gun and helping me choose the right accessories for my needs. My wife really appreciated his politeness and the cup of tea whilst she waited for me. Being a bit of a noob I was a little nervous about going in a gun shop and buying an air rifle. I was soon made to feel relaxed with a friendly staff atmosphere. The shop appears well kitted out with some beautiful rifles on display and associated paraphenalia. After doing a bit of research I decided I wanted an AA TX200hc and MTC scope. I have been dealing with Blackpool Air Rifles for roughly twenty years, first as a mail order customer and the the past fifteen years in person. I shoot various disciplines in both shotgun, rimfire, centerfire as well as airguns and really appreciate having a shop with just one section of the shooting sports in mind. Ordered items online from BAR worth more than £350, having previously bought Daystate airwolf/lightstream scope from them as well. They did not have all the items in stock, and promised to call me prior to dispatch. When they sent the order (3 weeks later) I was away on holiday and the order was returned uncollected to BAR. Ok saw a air rifle on their web site , great rifle ,great price , was going to buy it for my son, rang BAR that morning to confirm it came with a magazine, yes was answer and was the rifle still available , yes was the answer .Set off from east Yorkshire 30 min's later 100+ mile drive ,get there straight away did not see rifle in the racks ???.Asked member of staff if said rifle was here , was told it had been reserved 6 days previously ??!!!!.Sorry guys this is poor v v v poor... Took my HW95 in for them to fit a V-mach kit, on Monday lunch, asked if they could have it done by Friday, they said as short staffed they couldnt say for sure but would try. 3hrs later phone call to say it was complete, well done lads !! Also wanted a sling as was about to buy one, when I was advised to wait as some better ones were coming in for the same price.
They gave great advice and service, I would recommend them and will be using them in future.

I visited the shop last weekend, i went in to purchase an Air Arms S410 at £519 and an air arms silencer and ended up purchasing an Air Arms S400 with a weihrauch silencer, at a saving of over £130. the staff in the shop were brill, they spent the time showing the difference between the silencers, explained that i didnt need to purchese the s410 for what i was using the gun for, which felt strange a shop down grading a sale, which my wife was happy with..lol . I found this review not helpful because...coming in the shop with a bad attitude really doesn't help . We still sorted out your problem despite your attitude though so this cheap shot at us on the internet should be viewed as such. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I think the service i received from B.A.R was poor after ordering a gun and sight on line i was assured the gun and sight was in very good condition but on receiving at my local gun smith found the scope was useless on phoning the shop i was informed that i would receive a cash settlement after many phone calls have received no settlement even after giving all my bank details three times

Before few weeks I placed an order on Blackpool Air Rifles website for international delivery. I ordered Air Arms Pro Sport, v-mach kit, mtc viper 10x44, combro, gunbag and some lubes. The answer came very soon and the delivery were fast as well. Packaging perfect. One bad point for me were expensive postage to the middle europe. When some problem occured later, the support from BAR was quick and prompt. My next order will be made through BAR of course. (read more)

I saw that Blackpool Air Rifles were doing a good offer on a quality Bushnell 'scope, and since they answered my query promptly, I ordered one off them. I was going to order a Rapid S to replace my Rapid 7 locally, but changed my mind today and have emailed Lloyd who no doubt will reply quickly. Since I live far away, I have to email or telephone them and they are most helpful.
There is a lesson here, good customer service gets more orders, and I've had good service from them. Only bad...

Blackpool Air Rifles are very helpful, a pleasure to deal with.
I am from Holland and ordered some parts for my old springer rifle. Then a Hawk Airmax scope was ordered. Everything went very well.
Good and honest advice from Lloyd.
The service was exeptional good. Finaly I ended up ordering a brand new Air Arms Prosport. That one is now on its way to Holland.
I could buy this stuff in Holland too, but, I like the people from B.A.R. Honest people, good advice.

Same here, absolutely brilliant folks to deal with, and you can be confident that if you're buying gear from them, it'll be ,more than up to the job. Honest advice too - I was once advised by a staff member there (top guy) not to p/ex my old Steyr LG100 for a new LG110 as it'd be a waste of money. Didn't listen to him of course 'cos I WANTED the newer model.
