  VELVET ROSE
  although this lip balm has a nice rosy sheen colour, texture and smell it is slightly thick for my liking . Once you apply it helps cracked lips straight away but cracks on the lips are still visible, it just coats them pink!It started in winter and i was suffering from cracked and dry lips, so i went to boots and thought hmmmmm why not try a coloured lip balm instead of my past plain niveas? so the pink tube caught my eye in the usual blue and white packaging.i have had it for a few months and im still not even halfway through it. i would reccomend this lip balm to someone who doesnt suffer from cracked lips but only from dry.

  I was wondering around Superdrug, looking for a lipbalm. My lips were so cracked and chapped from the cold winter weather; I desperatly needed some TLC for my lips! I rushed yo the lipbalms section. There was loads to choose from. I was just about to pick up a lipbalm in a bright green package...when a pink one caught my eye. I looked at the brand name. "Nivea." I used Nivea skin proudcts all the time, so surely I couldn't go wrong. I took it home for £1.37.

  I totally love this stuff I use it ALL the time and its brill. It fells nice and smooth on your lips and keeps them hydrated. I never have a day without using this stuff im addicted.

  I love this stuff it smells so nice, and goes on your lips sooo nice it becomes addictive and i just sit there puttin it on t feels that nice! it also gives your lips a nice healthy glow and looks gorgeoues on!! when i have it on me i tend to hide it because all my mates are like let me put some on!!! get your own!!!

  After wandering around for days with dry lips, I couldn't stand it any longer, and this was the first one I came across in the shop. I think it was the pink packaging that decided it for me; and that I'd used other Nivea products before and they had never failed me, and this one doesn't either!

  The saying goes 'you get what you pay for' is exactly spot-on with Nivea Velvet Rose. I was so disappointed that I gave it away after two weeks.I have to admit that I am a lipbalm junkie so my expectations are high but this one is really rubbish. Although has a nice pink sheen and it does provide dry lips with relief(only for 1 minute),that doesn't save it from being poor-quality in terms of lip balm.
