I bought two packets of crisps - parsnip with rosemary and beetroot. The parsnip crisps were inedible as they were badly burnt and tasted only of charcoal. The beetroot crisps at least still had a slight flavour of beetroot, but were overcooked and charred, as well as being very greasy. We couldn't finish either packet. Tried contacting Tyrells direct to raise the issue of their quality control, but, so far, no response. So it doesn't seem as if this bothers them too much. I would not buy them again myself and would not recommend them to anyone.

I just LOVE them! They have such varied flavours, AND they are mostly gluten free. They are just fabulous, and don't give you a sore mouth or leave you with a funny taste in the mouth like some crisps do. The Mixed Root Vegetable Chips are better than chocolate in my humble opinion!, The best crisps on the planet, and the firm is friendly and helpful too, if you have a problem with a product.

If you can get hold of Tyrells crisps (usually in health and organic shops) don't baulk at the price. They are well worth it and very addictive. Tyrells grow their own potatoes and cook by hand, and it shows. The flavours are like nothing else and so crunchy.
