Good Points: The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was near to the underground and close to the shops. Lots of places to eat nearby.
The swimming pool and sauna were very good. There was a couple swimming naked and they were happy for me to join them - nobody seemed to mind!
Bad Points: I thought the room was a little small but good enough for one person. The bar was only opened for limited number of hours.
General comments: A very relaxed hotel and I'd be happy to visit again when in England. The staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was near to the underground and close to the shops. Lots of places to eat nearby. I'd recommend.

The location of the Henry VIII Hotel in London is close to two underground stations. The swimming pool was unavailable, and the air conditioning and safe in the room were out of order. The room was small and it was noisy. When I complained at reception, the receptionist couldn't/wouldn't do anything about it.

The Henry VIII Hotel is just off Bayswater Road, and a short walk to Notting Hill in one direction, and Park Lane the other. Handy for Oxford Street.
Food is good, and plenty of it. Had this crazy Austrian as Maitre D. No problem with us, but didn't like French people for some reason!!- Read GiroJohn's review (63 words)
