Why don't they make the Ericsson T68 any more ? It is a simple 3-band phone with a simple and elegant menu which just works. Not like a NOKIA. After 4 years battery lasts 40 hours; reception is one bar less than a new Nokia.

I have had 7 phones in the last 2 years but this is by far the best(better than Nokia 6235 or Sanyo 7400) I would gladly buy this phone again but is not available on my network in NZ! Nokia's are expensive, harder to use and generally over rated buy a Sony Ericsson!!!

The Ericsson T68 is quite a good phone. It has many features that you can use to stay conected.
The only problem is that in some instances the signal goes dead.

I have owned my Sony Ericsson T68 for over two years, taken it to India, U.S.A. and even had it fall into a river. Still it works perfectly. What a phone. I do want to change but cannot find anything better in terms of the above positive points!

The Sony Ericsson T68 mobile phones bad points overweigh the good ones.
The phone is slow, the T9 is the most annoying thing ever invented, and the screw on face is a bad idea, seeing as you cant take it off without a tool kit.
iv had my phone for about 5 months, and found the charger frequently playing up and not charging. this is particularly annoying, if the battery dies during a phone call, as the charger sometimes works but more times than not, doesnt.
I heard that ericsson were replacin ...

Do not buy this phone! the Ericsson T68 mobile phone has been the worst I have ever owned. It has lost connection to the network twice and had to go for repair, the screen has gone twice, it is too fiddly to use, the joystick is far too sensitive and you get frustrated trying to access the menus. Do yourself a favour, give it a wide berth, buy a reliable Nokia like i am about to do!

Had my Sony Ericsson T68 well over a year now and I'm pretty happy with it. I've had no real problems, and would probably consider another Sony Ericsson.

Ability to sychronise with Outlook was for me the main feature after being able to make and receive calls. Diary works great. Contacts also good EXCEPT that postal addresses aren't downloaded so I still have to carry an address book.
Synchronisation software/process a bit flaky, but does usually work.

Email does work, but the device is n ...

At the time of writing, I have been persevering with my T68 for 15 months. Unfortunately, from the second week onwards, I could not wait to get rid of it.

This phone is painfully slow, frustrating and down right unpleasant to use. It is so slow that you can sometimes count the seconds between pressing a key and getting a response. Keying in text messages is a particularly arduous process and it is quite easy to get several words ahead of the phone - you have to wait for it to catch up as the ...

I've had this Sony Ericsson T68 phone for about 2 Months and everything is fine apart from 2 major things.

    1) It has difficulty reading the SIM card put into it and
I have to wait about 45-06 minutes for this problem to
    resolve itself.

    2) The radio headset is not the best, a huge bulky part that you have to put in the phone not enabling you to listen to the radio whilst letting your T68(i) charge. The quality isn't brilliant and just about reaches a standard.

    Everything else about thi ...

I think this phone is great if you like colour phones with good games and have ur phone in a car or something that moves as it has a grip back which I think is GREAT! although recently I noticed that when people contact me by phone call the speaker has broken and they can hear u but u cant hear them which is very annoying to me considering I phone more than text!

Overall the Sony Ericsson T68 is an OK phone. Poor build quality in some places - the side button has come off mine easily. Texting can be a bit slow with the predictive text being very slow to catch up with your typing. Also when you put it in your pocket with the keylock on it turns things on and off and calls numbers you dont want it too (like emergency services!) Games are very boring standard type mobile phone games, although the WAP is excellent, fast and easy to read. Overall despite its ...

I bought this T68 phone secondhand from Ebay, with a bluetooth headset. I am very pleased with the bluetooth functionality, and GPRS which I use everyday with my Palm Vx. I don't use the mail client as the one on the Palm is more convenient.

The battery life is excellent, considering I'm a second user. I find that reception is OK, but it sometimes loses it, and takes ages to find it again. Although I find I can still make clear calls with 1 bar of signal. The sound on my Nokia 7110 would ...

I had this phone for 16 months. Since i had it there were connection problems. You should at least switch the fone off/on once a day to be sure youre on the network. I have to be reached at any time, and i had complaints from coll gues for not being online while my t68 showed nothing wrong. After 8m the case (keyboard) began to lose paint, so it started looking awfull. The bluetooth modem connection is also very shaky you lose the GPRS connection often.Finaly after 16m the joystick gave up on me ...

I like most people was initially very happy with this phone. It was one of the first colour phones available and I was looking forward to having a phone I liked using. Unfortunately it is now 10 months later and the phone is lucky to still be in existance and not thrown out of a moving vehicle.

Trying to compose sms messages is almost impossible with the stupidly small buttons and low quality joystick. The phone is also so incredibly slow I have often finished keying in letters and the pho ...

I have had this phone for just under a year and have been more or less happy with it. The main problem I have found is the reception failing. This happens quite regularly. The size, weight and overall look is exactly what I would look for in a phone and the display is great. I am just about to upgrade and I think I will be giving another make a chance.

13 months and 4 replacements with this phone. A real joy to use at first, but every model would last 6 weeks before beginning reception problems. The reception bars would never give the slightest hint to whether I would get to send my message or ring up a friend. By 12 weeks this would be constant and frequently I would get 'no network' but this made no difference as no calls worked anyway. Now I don't know if this was the way I used the phone (in my jeans pocket all day) or the phone itself, bu ...

I have had my phone now for about 3 months. I feel that the picture quality on it is very poor. Especially the ones I have downloaded from the internet mms sites.
Anybody know how they can be improved. Other than that it's smaller than the 7210 and a lot easier to carry!
