General comments: Owned the CDA CW 494 dishwasher for one year. Had to call out the repair man because the push button controls had come adrift inside the lid.
The annoying thing is that the machine does not clean all the crockery or cutlery. Each time I use it, some of the items are still contaminated with particles of food. Cleaning the filter regularly makes no difference. Bought it on the recommendation of the kitchen fitters who said they fitted lots of them and never had any problems. I will not buy another. Hope my CDA gas hob and cooker hood don't start playing up. Previous dishwasher is still going strong in my old house after 20 years, never having had any fault whatsoever.
