The print quality is OK when it works, bit the Epson Stylus C82 is exorbitantly expensive to run! When one cartridge goes, you have to replace all 4. Costs about 50 sterling to do so, which is the price of a new printer. I have had this printer for 2 years. It looks brand, new but it won't work. The ink gets clogged up and the print heads stop working. It's so disappointing to have to throw this printer away, especially after having spent another 50 sterling to buy the cartridges, because I thought this might have been the problem. It wasn't, and Epson should be ashamed of themselves.

The Epson C82 is very poorly designed and the maker should know better. Epson also responds to problems by telling you to ring a premium rate telephone number.

This was my 2nd (and now last) Epson printer. The Epson C82 started out as a good printer but after about six months, its given me nothing but bad prints. Never again Epson!!!

Don't buy an Epson C82. Spend your money on something else. The print heads clog up rendering it completely unsuable if not used very frequently. I have unblocked the heads more than 10 times and still it won't work. To unclog the black which is the problem, I have had to put a new colour cartridge in and having had it condemmed as unrepairable I am not best impressed. Expensive white elephant

My Epson C82 inkjet printer worked fine for the first set of ink cartridges. Soon after changing them with new Epson cartridges, I started having problems. I have had to dismantle the printer and attach the ink tube 2 times (not exactly the easiest task), and now the latest problem is clogged print heads. This printer cannot sit not used for a week. You are forced to print something every week (maybe this is a marketing plan by Epson to increase their revenues) or else the print heads clog u ...

Just don't run out of ink on your Epson C82 printer or it becomes a paper weight. Even after cleaning the print heads and spending $100.00 Canadian on ink cartridges it still didn't work. This is very disappointing considering how well my Epson Stylus 850 has performed over the last 6 years.

The Epson C82 is easy to use, prints good digital images.

On the downside, expensive to replace ink and unless I'm missing something - all cartridges had to be replaced even to print in black and white.

Noisy when switched on but otherwise fairly quiet. Did it's job for the time it was working.

I seem to have had the same experience as other reviewers.

I have had my Epson Stylus C82 printer for just over 2 years. I have found it noisy and expensive on ink. When I changed the magenta cartridge one day, it stopped printing in colour. Then when the black cartridge went, it stopped printing altogether. Technical support didn't seem at all surprised. The printer does not have heavy use by any means, and because of this I consider its lifespan has been very short.

Epson - the disposable printer company. I bought 3 Epsons 2 years ago - one CX5200 for home use, one C82 for school, and another C82 as a birthday gift for a friend. Now that school is starting and i really need at least one to work, they all print blank pages. Coincidence or junk? You be the judge. We'll switch to HP, or Canon, or Fisher Price...anything but Epson!

    Epson C82 Printer.

I agree with most reviewers. Print costs are high.

My print heads have just clogged. Epson said to clean them six times, and in doing so, it has used up half of the ink, and still didn't fix the problem.

Don't buy one if you intend to use it infrequently.

I bought this printer brand new, from Best Buy for $129.00. All I used it for, was to print 16 photos that I took with my digital camera. When I came back to use it a month later, the print head was clogged, and no matter how many cleaning cycles I went through, it won't print anything. This printer is a piece of trash. I will never buy an epson printer again. You should save your money and go for a different brand.

The Epson C82 is printing uneven can't get it to print cuts out.
I was advised to open the lid at the back of the machine inside you will see a grey/dark clearish looking band get a tissue (not bog roll) and gently wipe this band, then try printer ok....

You must use the Epson C82 at least weekly to keep it from clogging. Once they clog it is far cheaper to TRASH them, if two cleaning cycles don't get it moving. I spent over $100.00 pumping ink through it and even tried a cleaning kit with no success.

I've used my Epson C-82 professionally for nearly three years now. It has been the most satisfactory printer I have owned since my first dot matrix printer in 1988. I use it far more often than I use my laser printer, and I use it to print high quantities -- far in excess of those for which it was intended.

My little workhorse broke this morning. I'm so sad. I'm online now looking for its twin.

I agree with the negative reviews of the Epson C82. A health warning needs to be put on this printer. No matter how many times we clean the heads we can barely get a smudge of ink on the page. My advice is to avoid this printer at all costs. If you do not it will cost you a lot in money and wasted time trying to get it to perform the most basic printing tasks.

The Epson C82 printer is just as bad as the reviews indicate. Print head would not clean to give even black and white quality. I tried and tried to get it to print with no results. Very frustrating--and I'm stuck with carts I spent lots of dollars for. Beware!

I own 3 of these Epson C82 printers, one for over 2 years. I've had no problems with print quality or operation with any of them. Colors are clean and crisp on photos, but I mostly use them for general office printing, and the cartridges last quite a while if you are printing on plain paper.
Printer is loud, but it's so fast you hardly notice.

I would not recommend the Epson C82. I would not even give it away. Although the printer itself is relatively inexpensive, the cartridges are very expensive and this printer flies through them. Also, once one cartridge is dry the printer will not print at all (even if you choose the "black ink only" option).

The printer is very loud - it sounds like it is about to or has broken each time you turn it on or select "print" - & is very slow to start. Once it finally starts printing, it crawls a ...
